Not the game I watched! Lamar Miller was! Harris takes too many chances and with a noodle arm that does not work.
Btw, that noodle arm was the same arm that gave Miami the lead. And I don't give a rat's *** what he did the past 3 years. He played very well today and was decent last week. Allowing slow quarterbacks to run wild on you is pathetic.
Jacory played good, but that effort at the end. IDK about all that. He should of dived in the endzone, not that little half *** reach. In the end, our front 7 lost the game.
I wish his arm was a little more noodleish... maybe he wouldn't have overthrown a wide open streeter for a TD by 5 yards...
Did Miller turn the ball over and almost turn the ball over two other times? No! He is the bright spot on the offense not Jacory "throw it up for grabs" Harris!
I dont give a rats *** if anyone thinks he played great. He better stop tossing it up for grabs or he'll continue to be the one who costs his team! He puts his team in the lead then coughs it up so they can take it right back...
He wasn't tossing it up for grabs today. Btw, the pick was hardly his fault. The receiver didn't come back to the ball AT ALL.
Dont sugar coat it. He lobbed the ball in there when it should have been thrown a second earlier or thrown away.
And I realize you have a vendetta against Jacory, but saying Miller was more of a factor today is laughable. Again, did you really watch the game?
Yes, half *** reach. He should of pulled the ball down as soon he left the pocket instead of waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and then trying to dive into the endzone.
Wth are you talking about? I happened to have been a huge fan of his. But I'm not going to pamper him like you. He is what he is. A qb that makes a nice play then makes a stupid mistake right behind it.. You can stop asking me if I watched the game anytime now...
That guy who I was lol'ing at. It happens to be Warrick Dunn... ...instantly I regret saying all of this. Mad respect for Dunn.
The way the defense is playing it could get interesting. Both the offensive and defensive lines are getting the snot knock out of them....
Letting Bethune-Cookman move the ball at will. Telemaque just got completely trucked and the RB ran for 10 more yards, gainign a 1st down on 1st and 25. Lee Chambers just got mossed for a TD. This defense is an embarrassment to the sport of football. Take them all around back and put them out of their misery aside from Spence.
playcalling is horrendous. Why are we passing on 3rd and 1? Why are we running stretch plays on 4th and 1? Is too much to ask to just overpower their line and run it up the middle? Just shut this program down for good.
VT lost by 20 at home. I can't imagine they'll lose 2 straight at home, but I think we'll give them a fight. They're beatable.
Their offense wasn't impressive despite playing a bad Clemson defense. So at least our pathetic defense should be able to get a couple stops.
I never feel good about a loss. Honestly I can chalk up the first game to suspensions and the fact that it was the first game of the season. Anything can happen that day to any team. Losing to K State really hurt though, needing just one yard... Had we been blown out by them I'd feel better but coming up one yard short....man I dont feel worse but it doesn't ease the pain. 3-1 is so much different than 2-2 in college.
It still hurts, but I knew that was going to be a tough game. A lot of people thought we were somehow going to win that one by 40. Bill Snyder is much too good of a coach to let that happen.
The kid who's going to bring Miami back. Look at that touch, accuracy, and timing. He's getting some damn good coaching from Ty Detmer (maybe we need to hire him). Look at the way his WR's cut on those out routes and the ball is already there. Look at some of those throws on the run. I've long said, that getting a real QB again, will have as much impact, if not more, than getting a great coach. You absolutely need a great QB in a pro style offense to be successful.
