I didn't think about that, but it's why I didn't proclaim they were of my doing, I'm copying and pasting whatever I can find for this site because obviously we don't have someone like that..Props to him and thank you to him.

DAVIE— One-liners from Miami Dolphins beat reporters Omar Kelly and Izzy Gould today at Day 2 of mini camp:

-- I was fooled a little by the talk about Ryan Tannehill knows the offense. Big deal! The speed of the NFL game is eating him up right now.

-- There's one more practice to go, but AT THIS POINT, based on what I've seen in OTAs & minicamp, Miami has a two QB race for starting spot.

-- RT @ochocinco: I look good... I feel good... I can breathe again...I'm walking with my head high...not questioning myself... damn he's back

-- Joe Philbin acknowledged he purposely had Jonathan Martin going against Cameron Wake today for the lessons it produced. Wasn't pretty.

-- "We're looking for the most consistent player. I don't know if we have a great option," Joe Philbin said of O-line's right side.

-- Joe Philbin said the Dolphins are just experimenting on the right side of the O-line right now.

-- Either Jared Odrick is a problem, or Jonathan Martin needs some work. But Odrick does move, and he's active often.

-- Davone Bess caught a beautiful, diving one-handed catch from Matt Moore for 35 yards. Bess looks like Bess.

-- Roberto Wallace made a couple of nice catches from Matt Moore today. Still not seeing what I'm looking for though.

Jake Long had a "don't (bleeping) touch the quarterback (bleep) hole" speech for Reshad Jones after he produced a would-be sack on Garrard.

-- Jonathan Martin gave up a sack that included a forced fumble on Matt Moore. Not sure who got it, but I saw Tony McDaniel celebrating.

-- During an 11-on-11 situational drive Chad @Ochocinco caught a 17-yard pass from Matt Moore and his RAC got it to the 5-yard line.

-- Kelcie McCray made a nice interception on a ball Marlon Moore caught then threw up when he got blasted.

-- "I expect us to be a little bit more fast paced, spread the ball around more. Throughout camp we'll find an identity," TE Anthony Fasano

-- "Tight end is an important position in this offense," Anthony Fasano said. "We're asked to do some things in the passing game."

-- "Great athlete, smart kid, eager," Anthony Fasano said of Jonathan Martin. "He's learning quick & I think he's going to improve."

-- Charles Clay made some amazing, drive moving catches. But he also had three drops.

-- Today's practice featured two fights. Olivier Vernon vs Jake Long and Richie Incognito vs. Ryan Baker. Good stuff.

-- Davone Bess was the top performer of today's minicamp practice. Made two major catches.

Not just Tannehill, but I worried about our 2nd round pick as well, I didn't have Martin rated as a first round pick after watching a lot of his games, I thought that his strength and balance did not warrant a first round grade, nothing I've read so far makes me think that projection was to far off, obviously I want to see him in games, but recently I watched every snap from 1 game of his after reading an article on how good Nick Perry from USC is looking in packer camp.

When USC and Stanford went up against each other, Martin and Perry went head to head most of the game...I didn't like what I saw, you won't see it in the stats dept for Perry, but Martin was beaten all game when they matched up, and really, if it weren't for the brilliance of Andrew Luck, the stat sheet would of matched the game Martin produced.It really wasn't close.

That's true, he is the best pressure player in the game.

I understand, I just think that the perception is that he was a legit first round talent, and that we got a steal, and he will be our opening day starter..I think he went where his talent dictated.
