i agree with silverphin...wu got butthurt at joes opinion, they squashed it, and then deck disses him....i think that its more like deck who wants attention....

 

Wu is dumb for even acknowledging Budden's opinion.

He's really done nothing to give himself a credible opinion, IMO.

Don't you get tired of rap with constant name drop after name drop after name drop?

I hate rappers who feel the need to do that all time (game).


To be honest, I haven't listened to every song Budden has put out. But this dude had a lot of buzz that was all set for him to kill it when he made Padded Room. That album came out and IMO it's a pos and yes I've listened to the whole thing more than a few times.

lol I think the problem is that when you like an artist, you're balls out for them and you don't acknowledge when they do anything sub-par or just dumb in general.

I like some of 50's music but I'll also be the 1st to say when he puts out trash or says something stupid.


Budden having beef after beef after beef is a ploy to try to get himself noticed. If he made better music, IMO, he would be where 50 and others who used that tactic are by now. Case in point, Padded Room.

 

i acknowledge when they make something dumb or sub par..this whole thing with method man is stupid, i think joe is right that he could slaughter meth right now, but in the end it was a vibe bracket with bow wow in it, he should have just left it alone. when this whole thing started he said if you dont agree throw some bars, deck did, and he still hasnt responded, said he was willing to fight him. joe contradicts himself a lot, and is pretty egotistical, but at the same time it doesnt effect his music at all.

i can see why you didn't like padded room, it grew on me a lot, but the first half of the album is not that good. the beats are also very bad on that album. exxxes, do tell, angel in my life, and pray for me were really nice to me....i personally just happen to like a lot of his music, its different kind of rap(some say emo) and i can relate to it more. i dont really like gangster rap anymore. its played out to me, so i guess we have different tastes. there are only a few rappers i can listen to rap about guns and killing people. thats all i used to like but, it just got old to me..

I just don't understand why people throw Joe Budden and people like Game into categories with Wu and Jay-Z. A lot of artists try to take shots to make people think their better than they are or build themselves up. Pretty dumb idea IMO.

absolutely. from an all round MC aspect from flow to delivery he destroys Buddens. everyone knows Buddens is good lyrically, but that doesnt make you a good rapper.
