Crooked I is pretty damn good. Anyone recommend any of his albums? Preferably one I don't have to listen to Budden on?

I dunno about Crooked I albums but those fifty-two weeks of weekly hip-hop are nasty as hell. He did 52 straight weeks and totaled 54 freestyles/songs I think.

 

crooked i doesn't have any retail albums, im pretty sure. he was stranded on death row

slaughterhouse album got pushed back to august 11th smh

 

Say what you want about Wayne (i know this is random, lol)
But the man can rap. Or at very least rhyme.
Uses metaphors and analogies like nobody else (well, maybe jigga)
He has pretty good knowledge of outside word, common sense wise.
And is an all around funny cat.
Im not sure if im making a clear point.

The more I listen to Mos Defs new album the more I like it. Quite a good album.

that 50 mixtape is alright i guess....few bangers, but a lot of garbage

Only thing holding him back is that his voice is real avg IMO.

 

yeah, im not sure i like his voice either.. only heard it a few times though, on first listens i like it.

Yeah those are good too. I just got done listening to them. When I first started listening to the mixtape, I was like ehh but its pretty good. I just wish he would do more music with dark beats, kinda like he did on GRODT.
