Putting a feature on every song on your new album and trying to beef with the GOAT a few weeks before it comes out is a pretty obvious sign of desperation.

L.A.X. = album of the year, easily. Not a single track gets skipped.

I can't believe I'm actually listening to a ****ing clean album. It's that good.

 

I like the LAX album but not a huge fan of Game. I think his music is ok at best. Every now and then he will have some good lines. I like the song My Life from LAX though.

Btw, any of you got anything new?

Are all good.

Game has improved a lil lyrically, but he still fills most of his songs with the same name dropping 26s bull****. Some real quality production on here without a doubt tho.

 

I mean, it's a better album from top to bottom than anything else dropped in 2008. Lyrically, it's his best album of the three. Production wise, it's up there although nothing can top The Document. I also really enjoyed pretty much every collab; love the track with Raekwon. In terms of overall quality it's a great album, IMO.

L.A.X. > Untitled > Tha Carter III > II Trill > Thrilla (off the top of my head).

Let's see where The Recession fits in. Probably at 3 or 4.

 

Most of the well-known features are good. But that Lil Wayne track is a real waste. Could of just got TPain to do what he did on there.

Def way better then DA tho.

 

Sounds like pure hatred, IMO. That "My Life" track is great.

 

I love this **** as opposed to every other garbage Wayne feature this year, albeit just a hook.

Why have lil wayne as a feature to just do his best TPain impersonation? Thats a waste imo.

That song actually has some of Game's better lyrics but still nothin great.

 

It just seems like you hate on everything Wayne does, good or bad, but that's just what I've seen. T-Pain wouldn't fit a track like that; he's more for the bubblegum club banger. The hook fits the song very well, IMO. It's actually an older hook from Birdman's last (horrible) album, so I doubt he'd get T-Pain to sing over one of Wayne's older hooks.

Anyways, this Game/Raekwon track is on constant repeat. It's going to force me to go back and bump.........

I don't hate on everything Wayne does so I don't know where you got that impression. I like the majority of the Carter 3 and stated that when it leaked. He makes decent music but is def not very consistant lately.

I said Game could of got TPain to do that hook bc Wayne sounds exactly like him using that stupid voice distorter. IMO, if your going to get Wayne (who most people consider one of the best rappers available today) on a track, wouldnt you want him to be rapping? Putting an actual Wayne verse on that track would of made it much better IMO.

 

I'm actually glad that Wayne didn't touch that track with a verse. I mean, honestly, he'd of probably dropped a, "I'm ______ like _______" and ruined the concept. The hook is great to me, though. Really fits the song. I love tracks like this. It reminds me of "Shoot Me Down" which is my favorite track from Tha Carter III.

There's a track called "Red Magic" (Game ft. Weezy) that should pop up on one of the bonus discs.

 

I've heard Red Magic before, not a bad song. I like My Life a lot though. I thought Wayne was good on the track as well as Game.

Young Jeezy's CD The Recession drop today. Im really liking this CD more then The Game's, less then carter 3. However i wasn't that blown away by Game's CD

The Recession continues to grow on me and move its way up, but wow, what a disappointment with DJ Khaled's album. Might just be the worst top to bottom album I've heard in years. Not a single track will touch my play list. I hate Khaled and if I saw him on the ground, I'd kick him, but he has the resources to put together great music since he's cool with the entire industry (minus G-Unit, which is a plus). Album is pure garbage.

I hope his boy Ace Hood's album pops, though. I think it will. His mixtape is nice.

 

Love The Recession. I never liked DJ Khaled and I heard his album yesterday, it made me like him even less. A horrible album.

 

lol don't get too up in arms about the Sean Paul remark guys. I think everyone has a lot more respect for Offishall.
