HIS PALMS!? I can't know what that could be.

I don't think the Big 12 will be able to hang with this bunch. We have way to much "D" for them.

UF's defense is so good. This is the second time I've watched them this season and man I hadn't seen your guys DB's until now. That guy Jenkins (?), I think #29, is a good player. Btw, Spikes doesn't look like a 245 pound linebacker. He looks lighter than that or is just me?

I believe Spikes weight is correct Alen.

    Freshmen? Dang. He's good.

I'm not saying its incorrect, he just doesn't look like he's 245. I have to wonder if they beefed him up on the site. It'll be interested to see what he weighs in at the combine, assuming he leaves. What do you guys think are the chances he leaves?

Also, Tebow only one career pass attempt from under the center. Wow.

I don't see TT as an NFL QB. They may have pumped Spikes weight a little but I don't think so.

BTW, we have no seniors on the defense.

The thing I find so refreshing about college football is the continuity of the game with so few commercials.

Defense is playing with more confidence each game. This team hasn't played it's best game yet!

I guess Jimmy Buffet's a Gators fan, and Meyer is a Buffet fan.

His No. 4-ranked Gators had just shellacked South Carolina 56-6 at the Swamp, remaining college football's hottest team and handing Steve Spurrier the most lopsided loss of his illustrious head coaching career.

Admittedly, Meyer was awed -- by his team and by who was in the Gators' locker room afterward.

"Jimmy Buffett was in our locker room. Did you know that?" beamed Meyer, a huge Buffett fan.

"That's way up there. I don't get awed by many people, but that's a hell of a deal, man."

This just in: He's got a hell of a football team, too.

As Meyer answered questions about another awe-inspiring performance from his Gators, Buffett music could be heard playing in the Gators' locker room.

Buffett told the Florida team that he's anxious for the Gators (9-1, 7-1 SEC) to get to Miami for the BCS National Championship Game so that he could play for them.

ESPN - Another inspiring performance from the Gators - SEC

This team is really starting to click. So hard to defend that many weapons and I think our D kept SC to only one first down the whole first half! And that was the first play!

Bye week next week and then a tough one at Tally...

No movement in the BCS .I thought SOF was supposed to take care of that inequity .

Oh well I suppose it will eventually .The important factor is to win out .The Noles will be at home and this could make their year for them

Tell me about it. Plus they keep losing which is only hurting our SOS. I do not like this game. Hopefully our players are as focused for that game as they were for USC. I think they are similar teams (USC and FSU).

Our Starters won't be in the game past the half. Barring some freak injury, we will be fine after this game.

Meyer would be a moron to leave Florida right now....he is dominating the recruiting in Florida and all the other Florida programs are down.

If he goes to Notre Dame he will be in for a rude awakening because Im guessing atleast half of the players he has now wouldnt even be eligible to be Notre Dame students, and the other half wont leave the south.

I hope he does go to Notre Dame because the man needs to be humbled.

I don't know man, a lot of college coaches get a bite from the NFL bug and want to test the waters. He's young enough to do that and find out if he likes it and go back to coaching college football. I NEVER thought Spurrier would leave UF. He played there and after coaching them to greatness he was like a holy figure on campus. But I wouldn't worry about that right now, I think you guys are headed for the big game this year.

His friendship with BB and the Patriots owner Mr Kraft who was Meyers guest last week is paving the way for his entry into the NFL IMO...when BB retires.

But first he needs to win a couple of more national championships.

    Nothing is forever

Why these kids resort to doing such foolish things as that is something I'll never understand. Especially, Cam. He had a very good opportunity to set himself up for life financially by just keeping his nose clean and playing the cards he was being dealt at UF.

Thats a big disappointment ...for his life .The Gators already had decided he was not the player to backup Tebow and he was in Meyers doghouse...with good reason it seems.

Crunch, if you are communicating with Motion, please tell him we send him our condolence. It's very difficult to lose a love one and leaves you with a hollow heart for a time. It certainly makes you put your priorities in order as to what is important. Tell him we miss him here very much and hopefully we can help lighten his heart.

That's very true Crunch. Cam, has the size and athletic ability to convert to Tight End or go over to D and contribute on an NFL team. Now, he has a huge credibility problem to overcome.

I wish I remember where I read this, but I read an article, and it had Urban discussing why he chose UF over ND. He said that while his first love was ND he didn't like the way he had to recruit. He said if he had gone to ND he would have to recruit nationally, where as at UF he can recruit fairly locally. He said this added up to being able to spend more time with his family at UF which is important to him.

P.S. I don't know derek very well but my condolences to him and his family.
