The problem is...up 17-0 we are not looking for perfect...we were just looking for not making it easy for the Pats to walk back into the game. Would rather him make no plays at all than Turing the ball over the way he did.

Prevent defense for an entire half. Never thought I'd see it. Offense didn't help either.

    And:

-Fields chocked like a MFer when we needed him
-Defense couldn't get them off of the field in the 2nd half
-VD couldn't convert a great int chance on the sidelines

MMoore has a serious problem handling the football, clearly, there is something wrong, is it fatal?

Could be, not sure, think his accuracy is spotty as well

Thats just it. You have to take care of the ball. You can't fumble away a snap. Take two deep sacks when you had all day to throw, or throw it away, you cant throw a pick because you underthrow a wide open receiver when you want to beat elite teams. That's not on anyone but the QB. Talk about a lack of players in skilled positions, or needing playmakers all you want. It all starts with the QB though. those mistakes, were his. On him. Nobody else. Sure, maybe blame Pouncey a bit on the snap, we'll never know if it was bad or not.. but the other things, thats all on Moore.

It's not garbage time when they still had a shot at getting the ball back and winning. People would be signing Chad Henne's praises if he threw 3 TDs and only one pick but it makes Matt Moore garbage apparently. He should have thrown more than three because NE's defense is terrible... this is becoming more and more hilarious every week.

Way I see it, with more talent on O, we would have been up 24-0, maybe 31-0

MMoore held the ball to long, had 2 crucial fumbles, one lost, one recovered.

Add in 2 shanked punts and here we are...

are the jets out with a loss? I mean the Broncos can win next and would have tie break over them even if the Jets beat us.

The Bengals won so things probably aren't looking too great for them with a loss.

That was a lgeit score, if the D had held, we could have tied it.

Compred to last yr in Foxboro though, this was one hell of a better effort.

Weird, I didnt realize you were allowed to attempt an onside kick, on a "punt" after a safety.

As crazy as this sounds, I don't think our chances of tying it up were that bad

    Moore is a freaking tease

Add Gates almost taking one to the house and the the badly thrown ball to Hartline and there were our chances

A young QB. I like that he still comes out and makes some plays even if things aren't going as well as he'd like.

looks like the Jets are officially out no matter what happens next week... based on that yahoo predictor...

nevermind... ****ing Raiders need to win...

also... hope the Ravens rest their starters next week at Cincy... Cincy would make the playoffs... Jets have to win and hope both Cincy and Oakland loses it's the only way...
