The game went from windy rain to clear skies to windy muddy mess. Pretty cool to watch actually

Hated that they kept Tannehill in the "pocket" that last series. He has made plays outside the pocket consistently. Stupid to keep him there behind this particular line.

I liked that they moved Wallace to the left side for a change. They need to do more of that. Hated that Tannehill underthrew him. Wallace just isn't a receiver that can catch a ball that he has to turn around for or come back to. In the preseason and camps, Tannehill was over throwing him, now he appears to be throwing to him at a spot. He has to start getting it in front of Wallace more for that connection to work.

Man on man blocking today. That is helping the OLine and backs more. Dunno why it took them this long to realize it.

Thigpen making better decisions as well. Hope not to see anymore stupid stuff like in the Bucs game from him...

- Coyle calls no jam on Gates at goal line = SD TD
+ Sherm actually uses Thigpen well for a play
+ Sherm doesn't abandon the run on DT TD drive (this shouldn't be rewarded with a positive point, actually, it should be a normal, commonsense thing you expect from a coach when the run is working)
- Coyle's plan to contain Gates is insufficient, to say the least. Open on successive plays. WIDE open.
- Run fake completely fools entire defense. Well prepared defenses diagnose plays better than that.
+ Well executed goalline stand by defense and good blitz call by Coyle
- Underneath coverage within 10 yards of LOS is lacking.

- Tannehill has never thrown a ball away instead of eating a sack. Why?

- Jerry's man walks him back, swats Ryan's pass
+ Under a minute in the half, Tannehill throws it away instead of eating a sack and burning time. He learned!

- Nolan Carroll giving up big soft completion underneath
+ Thigpen head's up play feigning fielding the punt, making cover team hesitate long enough that they cannot prevent ball bouncing into end zone

Chargers just appear to be the better team all around. they aren't quite executing and credit the dolphins coaches for turning up the pressure and dline for playing solid up the middle. but it appears a matter of time before the chargers pull away.
