  3. I was thinking the exact same thing. I am really rooting for him to break the record.

He REALLY wanted to house it on that run. Running like a man possessed.

The season's over boys and girls ... let's try and get along now and talk about the offseason. No need to discuss other posters.

In house they have Brian Gaine.....out of house I have heard of several (discussed at length on Orlando's show, Sedano's show and Joe Rose's show on the radio). They are out there and many would be better than Ireland.

Well, I just woke up here in the 'Stan and saw the final score. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

We couldn't get the ball into scoring position once?
Reggie Bush only had 8 rushes?
We relied on a rookie to throw the ball 35 times?

As much as I despise the Patriots I'm not going to take anything away from them. They are a great team. It appears the defense tried really hard in the second half to hold the Patriots, despite being down 21-0, but when you see the offense generating NOTHING?

I read that Tannehill was sacked 7 times. That actually means over 40 passing plays were called, 7 of them didn't get off before Tannehill went to the turf.

I've said it before and I'll say it again until I'm blue in the face; if our running back (be it Bush or Williams and/or Brown in previous years) don't get at least 20 rushes per game, we're going to lose. The coaching staff panicked. Falling that far behind, they completely abandoned the run all together and set Tannehill up for failure. They established no rhythm.

    Rhythm develops confidence
    Confidence develops competence
    Competence develops momentum
Momentum develops the will to win

It appeared Mike Sherman wasn't interested in developing any rhythm, just threw Tannehill to the wolves to see how he'd handle himself. Maybe it was a learning lesson for Tannehill, a baptism under fire if you will. To Tannehill's credit though, he only threw one interception. I suppose better to take 7 sacks rather than press a bad pass and risk an interception.

I'm not really that disappointed we lost. The Patriots are a great team. I'm just disappointed how badly we lost and that we couldn't generate ANY points whatsoever.

One drive Tannehill overthrew a wide open Bush that would have been a TD. Then Tannehill throws a beautiful back shoulder pass that Binns dropped, then Kaeding missed the FG.

Bush also fumbled at the goal line. We had our chances, just let them slip away.

Poor el Padre. It's like you are standing in the middle of a deep forest, and yelling at the top of your lungs, but no one is around to hear you.

But don't ya know? Before 2011, Ireland was just an errand boy sent by the Tuna to fetch his Winchell's Variety Dozen and cup o' joe every morning. :wink2:
