That's obtuse. Dabo is a big reason they're winning and is the main reason the team believes in itself & doesn't quit.

The reason Clemson is winning is because they've bought so much talent, namely form Florida, that they shouldn't be losing. But just in typical Clemson fashion, it's all a flash in the pan. And just in typical Dabo fashion, he gets out coached in a game, per the usual. Even the Hurricanes and our god awful defense manhandled GT with ease. Was really hoping Clemson wouldn't pull a Clemson for the sake of the ACC, but... I've seen bad coaching for too long. With the Dolphins, the Hurricanes, the 76ers. I know what a bad coach looks like, and Swinney sucks.

"bought? lol. Hate to break it to you but Watkins & Co weren't bought, but they DID buy into the program which is why they're playing so well for a group of 42 freshman.

I'm glad you're an expert on bad coaches. lol. Your post will be fun to bump in a couple years. :wink2:

Feel free to bump this in a couple years. Not only will Dabo Swinney be fired because he's a terrible coach, but Clemson will get hit by the NCAA.

That 2nd pic was a joke. The first pic (Bellamy) was meant to be a joke to one-up the 2nd pic. Dabo is a man of serious principles. If a recruit gets paid, it's not by his doing. If he paid players, Clowney would be a Tiger. Hey, I understand---- you're just mad that a team can be successful without an NCAA violation. :wink2:

Watkins wasn't paid. Guys like Spiller weren't paid. I know this is hard for you to fathom, but some recruits (including kids from troubled environments) fall in love with the atmosphere & environment at Clemson, Dabo's vision of the team, the potential to be apart of a family, and the way Dabo handles his kids and genuinely cares about developing them into men first and foremost. These kids who grow up with troubled homes and environments (like Watkins) look forward to getting away from home, and if they're from Florida, that means potentially LEAVING THE STATE OF FLORIDA. Any non-ignorant person who knows anything about Watkins knows he was excited about Clemson's atmosphere, Dabo Swinney, and the opportunity to get far away from home. Clemson didn't "steal" him away from the state of Florida. He chose to leave, just as many do.

Then you have players (including kids from religious families) who grow up with strong values & morals and want to attend a school that promotes such. These players care more about their faith & values than money.

Clemson provides both in a big way, and SAMMY WATKINS, TRAVIS BLANKS, ZACH BROOKS, CHAD KELLY, AND JAY GUILLERMO are prime examples.

*Miami didn't stand a chance with any of these guys.

You know what players say when they're doing it for the money? Stuff like: "I liked what the school offered me"...... or:

Some players care about more important stuff than temporary cash and partying. Money means little if it's not in your future's best interest.

Lol at posting recruits comments. I see you haven't followed college football recruiting much. Understandable since you do follow Clemson. Never take anything a recruit says seriously. I've been following it closely too long to know nothing they say means anything. Dabo sucks, period. Terrible gameday coach. Lol at players taking pictures of themselves with stacks of cash being jokes. I'm sure Travis Blanks driving a new car the week of his commitment was all big funny joke as well. Once is a fluke, twice is a trend, three times, well, they're getting paid. It won't take long, the NCAA has spent a lot of time investigating Florida high school ball, especially South Florida. Clemson isn't in the SEC, so they'll get ****ed. This has nothing to do with Miami. The only one that did, was Chad Kelly who Miami didn't want because of character issues. This is about pay 4 play. Players don't just start flocking to terrible football programs. They're built by terrific coaches who win, and then they get the talent. Dabo isn't even an average coach, and Clemson's losing season last year wasn't winning.

Would be naive to believe any major program isn't skirting the rules.

Would also be naive to believe that many schools doing it will receive any punishment.

When you're doing it at the level Clemson is, in the most investigated part of the country, and you're not in the SEC, you'll probably get punished.

And great teams don't find ways to almost lose to the Wake Forests, Waffords, and Marylands of the world. They blow them out. And they damn sure don't lose to middle school offenses like GT either.

Looks like that terrible Dabo character just won the ACC Championship and is headed to a BCS game after barely squeaking by a crappy Va Tech team for the 2nd time this year. It's probably common for a young coach to accomplish this in just his 3rd full season as a Head Coach. <subtle hint of sarcasm>

And what does that make the Hurricanes who lose to the 4-8 Boston Colleges & 2-10 Marylands of the world while only scoring 6 points vs a 5-7 USF and allowing 26 more points to Va Tech than Clemson did in 2 games against them?

Hey, unfortunately for you, the Sammy Watkins, CJ Spillers, Tony Stewards, and Travis Blanks of the world will continue to leave the state of Florida for Purple & Orange and all that Clemson has to offer that Miami simply does not. You have it all backwards, bro. Clemson doesn't have to pay players to come here; Miami has to pay players to keep them away. :wink2:

This is just the beginning, R&R. Get used to it. Clemson won the ACC and is on its way to a BCS game despite having an EXTREMELY young & inexperienced team. Wait till all of last year's talented recruiting class joins the mix. Plus we currently have the #5 2012 class according to ESPN, and we still have the #1 DT, #2 RB, and #1 & #2 LB in the hunt.

Pretty much. I imagine it won't be fun and games when Clemson is caught trying to buy their way into relevancy, which won't take long if they keep dipping their hands into the SoFla talent pool.

Prediction(zero inside information): Clemson gets the near death penalty, UO gets the Auburn treatment. I realize this is obvious, but Oregon is basically daring the NCAA to do something, and those nutless wonders do nothing.

Oregon is cheating more blatantly than Clemson which is really saying something. I think both get ****ed in the end however. Gotta be in the $EC to get that preferential treatment.
