ehhh, you and I agreed, it was unrealistic...so nothing of note really. But I do love Cashman getting some shots in......
Yeah he was kinda pimp in the shots he threw out..... It is like "yeah I am trying to trade for King Felix and I have to be bothered with this trivial crap from some surgeon"....... You know onlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy the surgeon who operated on the best closer in the history of the game!!!!
Who cares? Chavez is a better hitter at this point.....I wanna say I am going to miss him, but I wont...
Mehhhh thats with no motivation and no reason to really want to play baseball in that City....we can see by years end what the stats are like....if he tanks it fine, they gave up nothing for him...win win for NY...
Maybe we have time to find options and depth with trade deadline ahead....better now, then after the deadline. narrowminded and jaded
Oh shoosy you..... Go listen to the FAN right now...they are saying the same thing...no big lost... as long as he comes back ready to tear *** in October...
yeah, that's where I would compare my intelligence and understanding....folks that listen to WFAN and actually call in, and use poor grammar.
all I am saying BDH from a productivity standpoint they lose nothing....if anything I wont be as frustrated if Chavez doesnt come through... where it does hurt is instead of EC being the primary backup now it is Nix.....which is a downgrade.....
And your AROD hatred is blinding you, your FANDOM is also blinding.... 1) AROD & EC is far superior to EC and Nix...never accept the lesser with jaded emotions over logic. 2) EC's increased playing time will increase injury risk with back to back games, etc (normal workload for his age and body condition), and any dings will downgrade what EC should be for role player and pinch hitter (when AROD returns), and then you would be ONLY left with Nix until AROD returns. Logic says never tempt fate over emotion. AROD out for the next 4-8 weeks is a loss, and WISHING it wont be wont change it.....the best you can hope for with weaker parts is status quo....thats not a smart gamble.
Dont mince my words you crazy man!!! I dont hate A-Rod I fully support him, I like him simply BECAUSE everybody else hates him....my point is from a starting 3B standpoint the productivity doesnt go down at all...on the whole sure it does because EC>Nix...but again the dropoff from A-Rod this year to Chavez is very minimal if any at all.... We need to wait and see what the ninja does if anything, he is probably works on trades as we speak (after blasting surgeons verbally).......but the sense from Yankee fans I have talked to isnt panic, most of them dont really care....like myself...I just get so freaking frustrated with him and BDH lets not play coy here, if THIS Arod is the BEST Arod we have for the remainder of that contract, NY is in some serious trouble.....even before the injury I didnt think he was going to break 25 HR's this year.... The Marlins should have waited one more day..... I have never hated a Yankee in my life except Pavano...
I hope Ichiro wins a ring with you guys. He deserves one being the best leadoff hitter for 6+ years, and a great defensive player. Yeah maybe he was selfish but seeing him win a ring would be satisfying for me.
Seeing Cano feels "disrespected" and has Boras he is getting 20m at least per year.....so I ask how are we keeping Grandy AND Swisher? Serious question, because if they don't take a discount it isn't happening IMO....... Hey Boras just remember when Elsbury hits free agency about that whole cost more thing for players in his prime buddy okay?
3-7 in their last 10, and if they lose tonight 3-8 in 11. Also screw you fan who let the Red Sox make that catch in the bottom of the 9th
This lead is like 4 games with Boston, forget what you are seeing right now in the Standings....the Sox are going to finish AT LEAST 10 games above .500.... not too mention all the games they have left.....
If you guys have any hope of winning the World Series you also need another starter. I don't feel like your rotation will hold up in the playoffs.
They have enough to get the job done thats for sure.....If they go to a 3 man rotation of CC, Kuroda, and Nova....or even Petitte when he comes back, that is enough...lack of clutch hitting is what is going to do them in...
Yeah I agree NY doesn't need to do anything, if he did tho it would have to be on the batting side... whats the word on Longo? this week right?
Oh man Cash pull this off......come on....everybody is on the table to me, except Sanchez and Nova..... I gotta laugh at the thought of Theo and Cashman finally being able to talk business....must be pretty cool... Cashman is so Belichik these days...
The Yankees acquired third baseman Casey McGehee from the Pirates for reliever Chad Qualls, tweets Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
