Haha, didn't see that. Thought you meant overall he's our best hitter. Sorry.

I think LoMo should play 1st base honestly. I wonder if maybe next year he will move to first... where would that leave a struggling Gabby?

I don't like how involved Loria is.

Every owner is involved with their team. I don't care if it's Al Davis, one of the Rooneys, George Steinbrenner, George Bush, or Micky Arison. All owners are involved. There's nothing unusual about Loria's role in that Jackson writeup.

Dunn has been nasty as of late... The fastball and curve have been great.

And El Caballo just barely missing a homer.

edit: It really drives me nuts how slow Lee is lol. God.

I hope Heath Bell doesn't pitch another f'ing game for this team. What has gotten into him? Just an absolute POS on the mound lately. what a freaking frustrating loss!!!!

Okay, but every single owner is involved. So at this point you hate the entire concept of sports management.

Also, anyone want to bet we'll see some pictures of Heath Bell living it up during the ASB? Not a care in the world for the $27 million man.

I basically do. An owner should know what's going on but he should leave the transactions and rosters to the professionals he hired.

Heath Bell was a Loria move. However, I liked it at the time. Now I don't. Fans shouldn't be involved either.

Look at it this way: "the professionals he hired" weren't persuasive enough to sway Loria to another point of view.

It's a shame it'll be weeks before we catch up to this point in the season.

Pretty good. They went from the beginning of the season up to the Carlos Lee trade, glossed over a lot of stuff in the process but hey. Lots of focus on Stanton, barely any mention of Hanley. No JJ or Buerhle; Hochman gets more airtime than those two. Some attempts at Heath Bell sympathy.

They fast-forwarded quickly, but i have a feeling they will get to those other storylines also.

It was a lot of fun to watch and see that "inside" stuff from my fave team.

My favorite line of the show:

    Sampson: "meet with bell?"

ozzy: "yeah, we cant win without him"

sampson: "you really think that or you think that cause we're paying him 9 million?"

ozzy: "I really think that, I didnt pay him 9 million, that's you're ****ing fault"

    lmao

Another favorite line of mine is when Gaby hits the game tying homerun minutes after the Carlos Lee trade is finalized and Samson says "You've got to be ****ing kidding me"

That was brutal watching them tell him he's being sent down. Dude was an allstar last year, sad to see him struggle. Hope he picks it up.

And I was thinking....we're only 5 back from the WC. Still plenty of baseball to go!!!

What's this? Boni is back, but Ruggiano is still playing? Unpossible. Can't be.

    :shifty:

Oh, and Lee seems to be an upgrade over Gaby.

Speaking of Stanton, he has the highest OPS of any Right Fielder in baseball now according to ESPN. This happened after Beltran went 0-5 today.

Thought that was obvious. I originally said that Ruge had no where to play with the acquisition of Lee once Bonifacio comes back. That changed when Stanton went down.

And Ruggiano is playing. He'll continue to play as long as he hits. If he doesn't hit, he'll sit.

I still disagree with this. However, Desides, you can't say I told you so in this situation. Had Stanton been healthy, you could have. But he isn't, so it paved the way for both Bonifacio and Ruggiano to play.
