    BILLS: 4th(8) for Whitner
With a corps lead by the elite Asomugha and new additions at cornerback, Oakland looked to enhance their secondary with a proven safety in Whitner. After an amazing rookie year in 2006 and being named a member of the NFL's All Rookie Team, Whitner's performance has dropped off the past few seasons. However, his ability and instint for tracking down the ball is clearly there. The new defensive mindset of the Raiders organization looks to give him the opportunity and company in the backfield to regain his former stature.

    JAGUARS: 3rd(21) & 7th(8) for Garrard
One of the Raiders biggest concerns was the lack of experience and talent at the quarterback position. Oakland found the answer with an immediate impact player in David Garrard. A strong, accurate, and agile quarterback, Garrard gives the team the leadership and prowess that this developing lineup needs. He was able to put up a 3500 yard season this year, with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions behind a less than mediocre line comprised of two tackles selected in the 2009 draft. After accepting an invitation to the 2010 Pro Bowl, Garrard went 8 of 14 for 183 yards with one touchdown and posted a solid 125.6 passer rating. Behind a solidified offensive line, the Raiders look for Garrard to take the reins of Oakland's young and talented running backs and wide receivers.

COLTS: 5th(7) & Bush for Saturday, Hayden, and Addai
Oakland's number one goal this offseason was to start at ground zero and build an offensive line for the west coast offense to operate. In an astounding trade with the Indianapolis Colts, the Raiders acquired Jeff Saturday. A perennial pro-bowler and anchor to the Colts top rated offensive line the past decade, Saturday's leadership, ability, and knowledge will be key ingredients to this rebuilding unit. When Manning heard the news, he was short of words:

The game tied the record set by Buffalo's Jim Kelly and Kent Hull.

Additionally, the Colt's sent a talented cornerback in Kelvin Hayden who will set up shop opposite of Asomugha. Primarily remembered for his game ending interception for a touchdown in Super Bowl XLI, Hayden adds another significant addition to Oakland's already concrete secondary. The Raiders also now have two agile backs with McFadden and Addai which the new offense can thrive for years to come.

RAMS CHIEFS: 3rd(5), Ellis for Demorrio Williams, 5th(13)
With a last minute change to the Chiefs GM, both clubs accepted a trade that would bring linebacker Demorrio Williams to the Raiders. Parting with the aging Ellis, Williams is a solid tackler who also possesses the speed and athleticism to drop back into pass coverage. Leading the Chiefs this season with 117 tackles, he is a multidimensional linebacker who has the skills to play either OLB or ILB within the Raiders' 3-4 scheme.

    PATRIOTS: Higgins for Wilhite
A rather uneventful trade, Oakland added to their cornerback depth with a young talented Jonathan Wilhite. Wilhite was drafted in the 4th round of the 2008 draft and has recorded 73 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 7 pass deflections with 12 starts.

    BUCCANEERS: 5th(27) for Tim Crowder, 7th(3), 7th(10)
Former 2nd round pick of the Denver Broncos, Crowder was released and signed by the Buccaneers in the 2009 offseason. Undersized for a traditional 3-4 defensive end, Oakland looks to use Crowder's athletic ability at OLB.
