The only one that matters is the ravens game. Ravens lose, we win, it puts us in. Chargers only get in if we lose and Ravens lose. Ravens need us to lose because we have a better conference record.

Not quite; if the Ravens win, then the Dolphins need the Chargers to win to initiate (and win) a 3-way tie for the 6 Seed. Assuming Miami beats the Jets, anyway.

Pound the Jets. Run over them. Kick them. Step on them. ***** slap them. Piss on them. Then we think about who else won.

The experts are picking us to lose which is always a good thing in my opinion. Both Ted Bruschi and Mark Shlongreth picked the Jets to beat us...This is of course after they got done giving Trey Wingo his special treatment in the back office.

Now why would you ask that? Would lessen the effect of the accuscore for this week..LOL All we need to know is that it said Buffalo would score 18.2. Probably not important that it didn't have Miami scoring a ZERO last week. As long as accuscore has us winning this week, we have nothing to worry about...Sheesh

I think the substance problem is that it seems the loss last week was glossed over. I am pretty sure it picked us to win last week but that would diminish this weeks prediction. Did you see it nailed Buffalo's score....no mention how much it had us scoring..wonder why?

are you serious? LOL Missing one prediction doesn't diminish "anything". It's record is 12-3 straight up. Obviously, this last Buffalo game was one of the ones it missed.

I surprised it picked Miami over Buffalo last week as a lot of sites had the Bills winning that game. Anyway, 75% isn't exactly a sure thing, if you don't believe that go grab a deck of cards and have somebody kick you in the nuts if a diamond comes off.

Four teams are alive for the conference's final wild-card spot.

Our friends at Football Outsiders give the Dolphins an overwhelming 59 percent shot at the sixth spot. If the Dolphins (8-7) take care of business Sunday against the Jets, they're in at No. 6 if the Ravens (8-7), Chargers (8-7) and Steelers (7-8) win.

Miami also gets in if they prevail, and either the Ravens lose, or San Diego wins.

The Ravens, however, would win a two-team tiebreaker with the Dolphins because of Baltimore's regular-season win over Miami.

The Dolphins and Ravens both hold head-to-head tiebreakers with the Chargers, but if San Diego knocks off the Chiefs -- and the Dolphins and Ravens lose -- the Bolts are in the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

Obviously these predictions are silly. Thought it was funny you mentioned it nailed the Buffalo total, nothing about the phins total, thats all. 12-3 is impressive, no doubt. Hard to emphasize the hits, with little mention of the misses, especially a huge miss that is still in everyone's minds. What was the projected score last week any way...no mention yet

No matter how you view the game will wind up, it's clear the Dolphins should win this game. And if they don't, it's another big indictment to this coaching staff, players, and organization.

The Jets are 1-6 on the road with 5 double digit losses and an average loss of 19 ppg. They're 6-2 at home, with their worst loss being by 20 to Miami. All homerism aside, IMO it's pretty far fetched to think that a terrible road team will travel away from home and beat the one team that crushed them in the one place where they play well.

I just don't put much stock in predictions. Either by computers or analysts. Games are played on the field by players. Having Baldinger picking the Jets or Jaws picking us changes nothing but our confidence. At kickoff, these predictions will mean nothing towards the outcome...nothing. Thats all I am saying.

It has cincy winning 57% of simulations. Both Rice and Bernard under 50 yards rushing avg.

San Diego is a 63% favorite with Ryan Matthews getting around a 90 yard avg from the simulations.
