You know who you are, you follow the prospects, read the websites that offer views on the prospects, maybe record a game or 5.

So what is "your" take on the Dolphins 2010 Draft Class?

I really liked our draft. I was glad to see us be able to trade out of 12,I liked a player like D Morgan but it scared me a little him trying to make the conversion from DE. I know Misi is doing the same thing but he was drafted at 40. I think Odrick and Misi will both have a chance to start in year 1and Edds will get a lot of playing time as a pass cover LB.I believe Jerry and Jones will push for starting jobs in year 2. A good solid draft it reminds me of Parcells first draft here. If I had to grade it I would give it a strong B.

Cautiously optimistic. I can see both reason to be excited and concerned. As always, we will just need to see how things go on the field.

Odrick is solid, but makes the Merling pick look like a waste 2 years ago. Misi has talent but is still a bit raw. I heard he has had back issues as well.

John Jerry is my least favorite pick.

Edds and Jones were great values. Carroll and the others I really couldnt comment on.

    I love our draft!

I would have gone in a different direction with half the picks but I would have addressed many of the same positions.

Round 1 (28) - I would have taken Jerry Hughes not Odrick. Hughes is a dynamic pass rusher who can play the weak side or the strong side. He is an inch shorter than Misi but has longer arms. Twice as many sacks but half as many tackles.

Round 2 (40) - After drafting Hughes I would have taken Terrence Cody instead of Misi and left Starks at defensive end.

Round 3 (73) - I would have taken John Jerry too. He could end up being the best guard in this draft.

Round 4 (119) - I would have taken A.J. Edds too. After last season its evident we need help covering tight ends. Edds will be a big part of getting opposing offenses off the field on third downs.

Round 5 (145) - I would have taken Reshad Jones here instead of Nolan Carroll and saved myself a draft pick (#219). Having said that I know nothing of Carroll and he could end up being a great pick.

Round 6 (174) - I would have taken Joe Webb. He could be just as effective as Ronnie Brown in the Wildcat and that is saying a lot. Plus he played QB so he is more of a threat to throw. He would push Pat White to get better or replace him. Either way we would be covered.

Round 7 (212) - It would be hard to pass on Antonio Brown in the 6th round but if our nickelback can handle return duties then that would mean we wouldn't have to dress our fifth wideout. So I would have taken Syd'Quan Thompson here. Undersized but he can cover and return kicks. A poor man's Javier Arenas. Who knows? He might end up being better than Arenas. There are no guarantees.

Round 7 (219) - I would taken Josh Hull instead of Spitler. Having said that all I know about Spitler is that he was James Laurinaitis' backup. Obviously I would have passed on McCoy who seems to have a ton of potential. We will see. McCoy could end up being the steal of the draft.

Round 7 (252) - I would have taken Kevin Matthews. He is Bruce Matthews' son and I'm not sold on Grove.

The caveat to all this is the fact that Odrick is just as talented as Hughes and may even be a better fit for our defense. So what do I know?

Adding Brandon Marshall for 2 2nd round picks is a steal, no matter which way you look at it & trading back with the Chargers and getting our 2nd round pick back was awesome. Then come the picks, we probably had the least sexy draft of all. Thats not to say that it wasn't a good draft though, we got some meat and potatoes, pack your own lunch, blue-collar working individuals who contribute to the team and not the me-first approach.

We added pieces to the puzzle; guys who are proven leaders and proven contributors that are crucial to championship-caliber teams. We took low risk/high reward type of guys who love to play the game. In the later rounds we took solid guys in as projects who also contributed at a high level.

In closing, the FO took the smart approach when drafting guys. Not your average one hit wonder type of guys, but guys that have proven they deserve to be where they are. I'm not overly ecstatic about the picks, but give it a few years. I was surprised we didn't draft more offense, but defense obviously was a more pressing need. The game evolves quickly and I hope only adding linemen and Marshall is all we needed on offense.

I hope most of the rookies drafted this year are being talked about highly in 3 years.

Well, the one less than obvious thing BR is Austin Spitler is a ready to contribute ST maven, as in made play after after play after play on ST.

We are packed at Wr, and a twisted Cameron Wake ankle away from needing a passrush specialist, thusly..Chris McCoy was drafted, he is not the freak Wake is, McCoy however, is upper tier Athletic..as athletic as my guy Chima Ihekwoaba, the Canadian DE prospect who has an invite to the Lions Rook minicamp.

The major difference is Chima had a Wakish 40 inch vertical leap, McCoy was down in the 33 inch range.

3 yrs is an eternity in the NFL Bro, they need to step up..this year...the way Cushing and Matthews did for the Texans and Packers.

    But thanks for your take!

We will have a lot less holes to fill next year.

    QB - all set
    WR - all set
    FB - all set
    DE - all set

RB - Will be our most glaring need after Ricky retires. Hopefully we will re-sign Ronnie.

TE - If Haynos or Sperry don't have a breakout year then we might let Fasano walk and draft a Tony Gonzalez-esque stud.

OL - We might need another guard if Incognito doesn't pan out. If Grove cannot stay healthy then center could become a need. Also more depth is always a need.

NT - We might need a guy if Starks cannot fill Ferguson's shoes.

OLB - We should be all set with Wake and Misi. We will see. Anderson provides good depth. McCoy could develop. I am curious to see how Brian Johnston does this preseason. However you can never have too many pass rushers.

ILB - We should be all set with Dansby and Crowder. However if Crowder cannot stay healthy then we are looking at Dobbins, Torbor, or Spitler. I could see us drafting a guy outside of the 1st round to compete with Edds for the other starting gig next year. Like Starks, Wake, and Misi, it will depend on how they do this season.

FS - If I am right about Reshad Jones then we are all set.

SS - Yeremiah Bell isn't getting any younger. Not sure how many years he has left. At least two or three which would give us time to develop his replacement.

KR - Patrick Cobbs, Kory Sheets, Ryan Grice-Mullen, A.J. Wallace, Marlon Moore, or Nolan Carroll will get an opportunity to replace Ginn.

The best thing about all of our potential future needs is its very possible to get a Pro Bowl caliber RB, TE, OG, C, NT, ILB, S, or KR late in the 1st round which is where we will hopefully be picking next year.

Why would Haynos or Sperry not having breakout years, be cause for letting Fasano walk?

I guess I worded that kind of funny. Here is what I meant to say.

Fasano's contract will be up. He does not appear to be the next Jason Witten. If Haynos or Sperry are not the next Jason Witten either then we will probably draft a tight end who does have that potential. If we draft a big time tight end next year we will probably release Fasano rather than re-sign him.

Good point about Spitler playing special teams. He might take Walden's roster spot.

I love McCoy's potential. He is probably a better draft pick than Syd'Quan Thompson. At least I hope so. If not keep an eye out for my post in 2012 saying "I told you we should have drafted Syd'Quan Thompson."

I would have stayed at #12 and taken Brandon Graham. Although the Jerry Hughes/mount Cody option is intriguing, as well.
