This regime has made it clear that they want their draftees in camp by the start of training camp .The agents responsible for such holdouts may be held accountable in the future .

I think it's kind of natural that when there is a holdout, the fans tend to blame the player and/or the team, when in fact, many times it's the agent who is dragging things on. Sometimes to wrest a few more dollars out of the team or sometimes to position him/herself for the best rookies in years to come...nothing to do with the welfare of the player directly involved or the team involved...simply to 'sell' themselves to next years' rookies...

Yes.And it has been noticed that agents who hold out players sometimes get their players drafted lower than expected.

Thats not always the case.It depends on the teams .

to further expand on this it is very competitive especially for projected top rounders. the agent pays for everything including the training taken before the combine, they'll usually pay for any meal where the two of them get together (usually at high priced establishments) and will be there at the combines and pro days and all appropriate days to show their support.

they get a certain percentage of the guaranteed money (it's how they make their money) which is why they fight for as many extra dollars that they can
