The original NG is still the best action game of at least the past five years. I'm looking forward to playing Sigma, and I hope the Sigma team is ordered to port NG2 to the PS3. NG2 looks damn awesome in its own right. The combat on water parts look great, and the wrist claws had better be as fun as they look. Too bad they ditched Rachel for Sonia, though.
kind of a quiet release no? i thought they wouldve had a bit more of an ad campaign, unless im just missing it. NG Sima for the PS3 was a freakin sick game, but the middle was damn pretty hard and drawn out for the average gamer. I dont like the, die 30 times before you finally move on thing. but then eventually, the game got easy by level 15 or 16, real easy. all you had to do was kill those 2 things over and over again, they gave you tons of in-game money, you collected all the in-game currency, and max out all your weapons, and the rest was a breeze. so yeah, im hoping its a bit shorter and easier. and more consistent.
I don't think Tecmo ever advertises their games too extensively. They seem to be doing alright based on hype alone. Also, am I the only person on the planet who thinks NG was easy?
i played on PS3, and remember getting your help a few times. until you unlock tons of that spirit/juice/money stuff, and get really powerful weapon upgrades, the game is hard for average gamers, no doubt. Sigma o PS3 was a rewarding experience for me. great graphics and very fun too.
Thoughts Mor? I played a little last night, man this game is fun and the graphics are awesome. No big fancy intro or anything, you just dive right into the action. im playing on the easier version, im hoping to beat it kinda quickly so i can get into MGS4.
after reading online a bit, this game seems like it gets really hard. acolyte can seem like a hard level as the game progresses. that should work for me. anyone else play...thoughts?
Average gamers need to shape up, then. It's no more difficult than some NES games, except that NG's difficulty is fair and NES games were cheap.
That's slang for "we could handle the first couple of stages but got our asses kicked by the sixth chapter, because we're used to games that hold our hands." These are the same people who ***** about the total non-issue that is the camera. I'm sorry, the Ninja Gaiden games are not that difficult.
I saw the video review for this game and It didn't impress me at all. Looks like an arcade style game. Its just not my cup of tea.
