According to the guys on Pardon the Interruption, rumors are abound that Nick Saban may be interested in the West Virginia job. Remember, Saban was originally from West Virginia.
I'm pretty sure that the Central Michigan coach will take it. He'd be a good fit for WV since they run the same offense, and he's just a very good coach.
Leopards don't change their spots. Although the burn from Saban was definitely felt, as much as I've tried to I can't seem to bring myself to hold contempt towards Alabama for their part. Obviously, Saban was wanting to get out and Alabama just happened to be the poor sap who bought in to his act. If he leaves for West Virginia after one year in Tuscaloosa, he's an even bigger tool than I originally thought.
You can put this rumor to rest. They announced they were taking the interim off of Stewarts title. He's the coach now. Which after the game, he deserves the chance.
I hope it works out for him. Seems like a coach you can't help but want to play for. Seeing him before/during/after the game reminded me a lot of Jim Bates and that Monday night Pats game.
