NFLPA leaning on potantial 1st Rd draft picks to stay away from the NFL Draft.

    even hinting at having them appear on a rival TV network after they are chosen to do their interviews, or possibly to only speak via social media outlets.

    to me, this comes off as childish, and will hurt the players cause, not the leagues. don't know whose brainchild this is, but if it is Demaurice Smith's they need to ditch him, soon.

    not to mention, if the rookies decide not to go along with it, it puts a major chip in the NFLPA's armor and gives the appearance that theyir solidarity is breaking down. and with all the attention high school players and 1st Round draftees get nowadays, and how accustomed they are to it, i can see them telling the NFLPA to go screw themselves, because it will only hurt therm in contract negotiations.
