Honestly no, not with the moves we made or didn't/couldn't make. But if we don't get that fixed pronto, we'll really be lagging in a league where you absolutely need a top marquee WR to compete. That's why if we still suffer next season, I want Michael Crabtree on my draft list pronto. If he can still succeed with the added pressure of double teams and run a good combine, he's the best WR prospect since Braylon Edwards. Essentially TO without the issues.
Yeah I agree. I want Crabtree so bad and hope we somehow land him. I have a feeling we will go 'backer or DB in next years draft though
While picking a great WR prospect would be nice, I'm looking forward to this guy wearing a Dolphins jersey. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owXgLCbw5YU
MLB still is a question mark for us and after next season Crowder and Porter may no longer be with the team. I don't think that the other players at MLB are going to make enough of an impact to make Miami pass on a guy like Rey. JMO though
I thought we messed up by not drafting Dan Connor and instead drafting Kendall Langford because we could've used a good MLB from Linebacker U. Even though I'm a UCLA guy, I'd like it if Rey became a Dolphin.
There were a couple of good MLB that we passed on in this draft (Bell, Goff, Connor, Biermann, Raebel, etc), but I'm very happy with our draft. I even warmed up to the Long selection. I was thrilled that we were able to draft Langford. As for next year I think MLB, NT, WR, CB and S should be our main focus.
Thanks for the post, but I can't take any rankings too seriously that have Andre Johnson right before Wes Welker. Those two shouldn't even be in the same sentence.
