I would love to root for the Packers. But I can't do it because the NFC game is the early game. God, my football life sucks

    Let's go, Andrew Luck!

Here are some links on one of the reasons I like him so much.

Both links say the same thing. The Readers Digest version is the second link.

My boy Mike Daniels plays for the Pack so obviously I would love to see them win it all but RW3 vs AL12 would be an awesome SB as well.

tannehill is better than russell wilson already. it will become apparent next season when the two teams come closer together in terms of talent. right now its difficult for most people to grasp how much easier wilson has it. as pete carroll said his offense is designed to run as effectively with tavaris jackson as it is with russell wilson. assuming the talent on the dolphins gets better next year and the talent on seattle diminishes a bit you'll see tannehill outshine wilson on a regular basis. as for luck he's already the 2nd best QB in the league and pretty much doing everything everyone expected of him from the time he was in college. tannehill will never be better than that guy. he was groomed from the time he was a kid to be a nfl qb

His best characteristic IMO is his ability to never let a game be over, no matter the odds and how many turnovers he makes, he continues to carry the load.

What on earth leads you to believe Ryan Tannehill is better than Russel Wilson? Wilson has a much worse recieving core and an inferior OL and still makes plays.

He gets beat here and there but he still shuts out top WRs all the time.. Its almost impossible for a CB to not get beat from time to time.

Tannehill is not playing the same game as Russell Wilson yet, and the Dolphins will not be moving closer to the talent level of the Seahawks this offseason. JMO, but wow.

    Wow.

LOL were gonna get the legion of boom in one offseason LOL just wow, like you said. And it dont take a genius to see how many plays RW3 made to extend drives yesterday was an absolute elite skill that RT17 doesn't have yet, at least not as often as RW3 does it.

i don't even like the cowboys, i wanted the pack to win, but wow, poor Dallas. that is a catch 999/1000 times. He was reaching for the endzone. SMFH. Embarrassing.

Then again look who the ref is......

I also love how "competent coaching staff that knows how to use its players" is used regularly as a strike against Wilson.

not really true at all. wilson runs a tom osbourne inspired type of offense that is heavily dependent on the run game being the dominant driver. couple that with a number one defense that can allow you to play field position for the entire game. tannehill doesnt have that. he is forced to move the offense through the air. not sure why we dont run a bit more but thats another discussion. our offensive line sucked and our receivers are a bottom third unit. this has forced us to do the dink and dunk. next year you shgould see the seashawks lose some free agents and get a bit worse and we should get a bit better. we still wont be as good but the gap in talent level between the two teams should shrink enough that you will see tannehill outplay wilson. wilson is leading a charmed life right now. that should end soon. and granted he made two beautiful throws yesterday but he is a system qb for an offense that is designed to diminish the qbs importance

And Wilson was an absolute killer on 3rd down. 8 for 8, I think.

I would extend Tannehill tomorrow, but I don't see how this argument still exists.

I used my movie reference because Tannehill stands in the pocket and gets killed, playing QB by the (old) book, which people really like and root for. "Just wait 'til they fix the o-line, etc." whereas Wilson finds a way to make it happen, doing things that people don't necessarily like (breaking the pocket, running for first downs). Thus, Tannehill is the guy in the PG-13 movie that everybody roots for, hoping he'll succeed one day, and Wilson is the guy in the Rated R movie who just breaks rules and gets what he wants.

colts offensive line is playing far better than i thought. really thought they would have trouble protecting luck. but if denver couldnt get to him i'm not sure how new england is. think the colts have a good chance here

Okay you've had too much to drink today... get some coffee and take a nap.. Tannehill is not remotely even close to Wilson, he's robotic. Wilson makes WINNING plays, has a killer instinct that Tannehill has never had.

Tannehill has never won a big game in both college and the NFL. A car wash sponsored bowl game vs a ****ty Northwestern team and that was it. His resume is unimpressive for me to have him ranked over a proven winner like Wilson.

8 for 8 with 3 touchdowns on third down.

Clearly Wilson should be taking pointers from Tannehill on how to get it done through the air.

To be serious for just a second, Philbin should be taking pointers from Carroll on how to put players into position to succeed.

What run game were they heavily dependent on yesterday?

You're taking the term being a homer to a whole new level.

Their OL was still terrible, AL12 just disguises it with his elite pocket awareness.

Actually by rule (bad rule but still NFL rule) it wasn't a catch as he didn't maintain control of the ball when hitting the ground.

I hate Steratore as much as anybody here, but there isn't a ref in the league who would have called that a catch.*

*unless it had been Julian Edelmen or Danny Amendola coming up with it

Lol he made it seem like Lynch was killing the Panthers yesterday, Carolina actually did a good job of putting the clamps on Lynch, RW3 killed em though.... through air and ground, absolute dominating performance by RW3 yesterday. Then again, I dont think Prezz actually watched the game yesterday.

you guys just dont know how to evaluate a QB when the talent surrounding them is so different. you dont understand the philosophies of the offenses and what they require from the qb and you dont understand the dynamics that force certain decisions due to the surrounding talent. all you go on is results not understanding the myriad of dynamics that lead to those results. I'll go a step further in outrageous comments. Once wilson gets his kaepernick contract and wrecks the seatlle salary cap structure you will see that awesome talent advantage that seattle currently has disappear. it will probably be middle of the road. when that happens you will see how flawed a QB Wilson really is. My outrageous prediction is wilson will be a backup QB in 2018

Ok, so how do you rank the four remaining QBs? I know I risk to be called biased, a hater or whatever, but here is my honest list and it's not meant to be any kind of Pats bashing (2nd best team left imo):

Rodgers (if healthy) -> Wilson -> Luck -> Brady

with Wilson over Luck being the closest call for me.

the outside is a bit soft but there was zero interior pressure. thats the qb killer. if the patts cant get interior pressure they are in for a long day on defense

That prediction is outrageous, and my question still lies.. did you watch the game yesterday? Do you realize they traded their most 'talented' WR this year? Did you see RW3 destroy the Panthers in the air and on the ground?
