That Cowboys fan bandwagon just started last week after they finally won a playoff game and the wheels have already broken off gotta love it
That's okay. Last week the Lions were the team that was robbed by a bad call. If not for the call against the Lions last week, it's likely the Cowboys wouldn't have even been in the game today to get robbed. Actually according to the rules, it was an incomplete pass. I think this is a rule they need to change before next season, but as of today, it is what it is.
He already has his agent on the phone telling him to get to work... Hes about to be the richest receiver in NFL history lol
That absolutely wasn't a catch by Dez, and lets never say again that Dallas got robbed after the shenanigans last week and refs being on Jerry Jones party bus.
If the Colts win today, I want some of you guys to convince me that they have a chance to beat New England, because I don't see it. Please? I don't want to be bummed for a week.
My opinion is you can't overturn the call. If it's called a catch, not enough to overturn it, same if reversed
so GB goes to the conference championship and you say its ok because the lions got screwed ? i guess that means its ok if the Seahawks win largely due to the help of bad calls and then lose the superbowl to the patriots for the same reason
Peyton is hobbled with a bad arm. If he was healthy id say the Broncos have the best chance but he isnt healthy and his arm has been very weak. He might win todays game but Andrew Luck is the best chance to beat the Patriots.
I love Luck's game. And I love that he apparently congratulates opponents who hit him hard for their hits, and he's sincere about it, which pisses them off. I have other concerns about the Colts vs. NE. How do you think the Colts will stop the run against New England? I don't think Brady will concern the Colts' D much, but they have had it run down their throats in 2 consecutive meetings.
i completely disagree. It was a bad interuptation of the rule. it was not in the act of catching it. The ball was caught and he was reaching for the goal line
No, I stated that the call today was the correct call, based on the rules of the game at this time. That doesn't change the fact the Lions were the team which actually got robbed by a bad call last week.

I look at that as "going to the ground" more like diving for the pass. I disagree with the interpretation of the rule.
No matter which team wins in Denver today, it is still going to be the Patriots in the SB this year. They beat both the Colts and Broncos easily in the regular season and I don't see either of these teams going into the Patriots stadium next week and beating the home team. I think it will be the Seahawks and the Patriots in the SB this year. I also think the Seahawks will end up repeating as SB champions.
Fair. I think Denver, just by virtue of being able to run the ball and stop the run, has a better chance than Indy. I love Boom Herron, but runs are wasted downs for Indy, and you can't have that in the playoffs. Also, I'm giving Denver a pass for one crappy game and would do the same thing for the Colts, but I can't give them a pass for two crappy games.
You certainly are entitled to disagree with the interpretation of the rule. Unfortunately the head referee had plenty of time to review the play on television and he gets paid by the NFL to interpete the rules as they are written. After reviewing the play, he called it incomplete. I think he certainly knows the rules better than any of us on this forum. So as far as I am concerned, he got the call right.
I was thinking the same thing about this Denver game but was afraid to admit it, I think the Patriots will beat whoever comes out and go to the Super Bowl... Going to disagree about Seattle... Because im biased and I want the Packers in.
...and proceed to use Cobb in the same exact way Wallace was used, causing him to become the new scapegoat. [I love Cobb. Any WR who comes to Miami is doomed, IMO.] Herron for the TD! Maybe the downs aren't wasted anymore.
Personally I would love to see the Colts win today and beat the Patriots next week. I just don't see it happening. As far as the Broncos are concerned, I have just seen Manning disappear far too often in the playoffs that I don't think he can go into New England and beat the Patriots. Brady usually outplays Manning when the two teams play each other and Belicheck seems to always come up with a defensive game plan to confuse Manning. Manning is is the greatest regular season QB in the history of the NFL. Once he gets into the playoffs or SB, he turns into a pretty average QB far too often.
Manning is 2-1 vs. Brady in conference championship games, and the Broncos thoroughly dominated the Pats last year, in a game where Manning outperformed Brady. Granted, the Pats improved their D a lot and Gronk is healthy this time, which might be enough. I think the "Manning choker" thing is way overdone. When Brady's teams lose it's because his teammates all let him down.
I had picked the Packers several weeks ago when I thought they might have home field advantage in the playoffs. At the time I thought the Seahawks would be a wildcard team and have to play their games away from their home stadium. Both the Packers and Seahawks are tough to beat on their home fields. If the game next week was in Green Bay, I would go with the Packers to win the game. Since it's in Seattle, I just think that favors the Seahawks. I don't root for one team over the other in this matchup and I don't bet on games, so I would have no issue if the Packers go into Seattle and beat the Seahawks. Since the Dolphins aren't in the playoffs. All I want to see are good games and when it is all over, any team win the SB except for the Patriots.
You shouldnt discount Indy, Andrew Luck might not have much talent around him but his 'never say die' attitude is unmatched.
I think Indy has a good chance to win today, and a terrible chance to win next week. If I were their coach, I'd ask Luck if he is ready to have a go at linebacker in the title game.
Prior to this weekend games Brady had been in 27 post season games. His record was 19-8, a 704 winning percentage. Peyton Manning had been in 23 post season games and his record was 11-12, a 478 winning percentage. I have been a Dolphin fan for far too long to root for Brady or the Patriots. Yet if it came down to one game and the teams were evenly matched, give me Brady over Manning any day of the week if the game is being played in the playoffs.
I love seeing Cowboys cry about the call today, after totally ignoring the fact that they avoided like 3 flags in one play last week.
I'd rather play Denver next week than Indy. Indy has been hot and Peyton's December was almost as bad as Bill Cosbys.
