Exactly, this is why Tannehill really is the key to our season, the offense is really setup to run through him, unless Lamar Miller is Chris Johnson Jr, all the key pieces are in place to go as far as Tannehill will take them.

At least with Bush, he could take over some games, now we have no one who has proven they can do that on offense.

Hartline had that Cards game last yr, but we still lost it.

    Spotlights on #17 this year.

You could have made the exact same point you're trying to make about this team and QB back in 2010 by the very same logic you're employing here. Henne's numbers in 2009 were almost identical to Tannehill's in 2012. The upgrade in caliber of WR is similar (even though Marshall and Wallace are very different players). I'm sure people were saying very similar things going into 2010. If getting a young QB's TD production to double was as simple as adding a top 5-10 WR Chad Henne would still be the QB in Miami. Nothing is guaranteed and you're making it sound like it is.

I'm not going to spend anymore time on this debate, because it's one I certainly don't want to be on the "winning" side of. I don't want the possibility I'm pointing out to even come close to becoming a reality. I'm a believer in Tannehill. But I'll wait till he throws 20+ TDs and has a TD/INT ratio better than 1 before I celebrate the coming of the Miami Dolphins QB savior.

That's fine if you don't want to debate it anymore, I'll just never understand why you think Henne's flaws have anything to do with Tannehill's. Its just illogical. I mean if Henne had been awesome would you feel Tannehill would be awesome too? It just makes no sense. I'm not trying to be insulting by any of this, btw, so if I am I apologize.

No offense taken whatsoever, Fin. And I know they are two completely different QBs. But the fact that upgrading WRs corps doesn't necessarily significantly upgrade the play of the QB is a fact that can apply to every and any QB. It was the case with Henne and it could be the case with Tannehill but I sure hope not.
