There are two scouting organizations that various groups of teams may belong to, BLESTO, and The National. I'd guess the rankings are from one of them.

Keenan Allen and Zeke Ansah right where I believe they deserve to be, value wise. Both will be drafted higher, of course.

Corey Lemonier crashing the top ten rankings party with an undone tuxedo tie and bottle of open champagne. hello big fella. Time to watch your film.

    :)

(Damontre Moore's slide may be beginning, btw. I think his inability to corner will show glaringly in drills and cones at the combine)

Totally think Bustavious Mingo is fooling people. This year's Vernon Gholston.

Yet, when I watch him he does not even remotely remind me of Gholston.

His play reminds me of Sergio Kindle the way he's an athlete flying around rather than a football player.

I do not agree. He resembles Bruce Irvin to me more than Kindle.

He doesn't finish like Irvin, but he's not an uncontrolled athlete that is just flying around.

Don't make too much of these rankings. It is still early. When I've watched him, I've seen him turn the corner on his pass rush many times. Unless that is not what you are referring to. If he fell to 12th, I'd be all over Moore at that point.

Where would you rank him among the edge rushers in this class?

Oh I agree. Just in the sense that I think he will be a high pick bust.

    Gholston was a physical specimen.

I don't mean bending the arc. I mean when he is not on a blocker and but is running upright he corners like a stretch limo.

For instance if a running back or QB sidesteps him he has to go all the way around Staten Island turning the boat around before he can loop back to him.

What do you guys think of Jarvis Jones, haven't really studied him much but when I watched him play he was all over the place. What if he fell to us?

EDIT: well I just checked out Bpk's thread about him, seems like he won't fit our defense...we need to find a stud on the opposite side of wake though

He could at the very least be a situational pass rusher for us, and it seems like teams are beginning to place a higher value on those types of players these days. Aldon Smith and Bruce Irvin were both only situational pass rushers as rookies. If a player has such a high talent level, you find a way to fit him into your defense. There is really only one concern with Jones...

After watching all the SB practices and the game I can't justify their ranking QB Dysert & Wilson higher than Eifert. Those 6 QBs were mostly awful.

Being a QB in the NFL draft is like being a girl, no matter how ugly, at a bar after last call. You are automatically desirable due to scarcity and circumstance.
