Recaps this 99yd, 18-play drive last year. Interviews the Coordinators, Vince Young, his receivers, etc...great read in a behind the scenes film session type setting. The play by play and analysis from the perspective of the Titans Offensive Coordinator (Mike Heimerdinger) and on occasion his mindset in trying to outwit the Cardinals Defensive Coordinator (Bill Davis) as well as his frank assessment is quite interesting. I know we rip Henning as our OC; but inside info and personal revelations like this always make me pause and wonder, in a case by case basis, the what ifs that go into successful (or unsuccessful) drives, etc are quite interesting, and execution of the play, and luck, can win over solid play calling at times. Thought you all might enjoy it....its the best of the best when it comes to NFL style "cat and mouse" match-ups.
Yeah, the layout sucks online (the video is great resource though)...it looks great in the Mag....but the info is really cool in a what were they thinking, what was the rational type approach...really, what every fan dreams of.
For all the "run the play in practice, run the play in preseason", etc etc talk about schemes and tendencies, etc...how this sound:
