From PFT: The Bills know Josh Allen‘s going to miss a few weeks with his elbow injury. Coach Sean McDermott told reporters that his rookie quarterback and running back Taiwan Jones (neck) were out for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Veteran backup Derek Anderson, signed last week, will start for the Bills since they can’t with a straight face trot Nathan Peterman out there again. The Jets are set to be shorthanded at wide receiver and cornerback for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Head coach Todd Bowles said early in the week that wide receiver Quincy Enunwa would be out after spraining his ankle in last Sunday’s win over the Colts and they’re likely going to be without Terrelle Pryor as well. Pryor, who caught touchdowns in each of the last two games, has been listed as doubtful due to a groin injury. He has company in that category from cornerback Trumaine Johnson. Johnson has missed the last two games with a quad injury and his absence would leave the team down two corners as Buster Skrine has been ruled out with a concussion. Safety Marcus Maye is the other player ruled out for the Jets.
If only the pats were so lucky! Man the bills have fallen on hard times when it just a few years ago they were the hot young team.
Bills may have a scary young D, but if Anderson gets injured how could they possibly put peterman back in there? Reminds me of Beck. Deer in the head lights.
