I’m looking forward to playing those guys,” said Grove, who was Oakland’s second-round draft pick in 2004 and started 46 of the 54 games he played in for the Raiders. “Probably three of the best defensive tackles in the league are in this division and if you want to get some respect you’ve got to play against the best so I’m looking forward to that. I think I did well against them last year and I think that’s why I’m here.”

If Grove stays healthy we may have found a good center to augment or up and coming offensive line.

“You need to get it done in a way that everybody understands it and even if everybody’s wrong, if we all do the same thing it’s not that bad. But when you half the people doing one thing and half the people doing another thing that’s when huge holes get opened up, so my goal is to get everybody on the same page and have all five of us doing exactly the same thing, and have the quarterback know what we’re doing so he knows who’s not blocked. If we do that we’re going to be successful.”
