I have been thinking lately that I want to be involved in disaster relief or maybe even just helping communities with technology on a volunteer basis of course. Technology mainly because I am a computer scientist in the IT software field, I am, however, not in the IT hardware field. I figure I can always learn though any thing that might be needed of me. I have been looking around the internet and besides the redcross does not seem like there is much of what I am looking to do. Does anyone know, or volunteer with an organization and think they can help me out? Yeah I know its a weird request..................
