Need some computer tech help with BluRay drive!

305forum_veteranOPI own a XPS 1730 and just bought a new slimdrive UJ 220 BluRay drive and swapped it out with my DVD/RW drive. I can see the data on the disk but none of my programs will play the BR movie! I have CyberLink PowerDVD8 which will play blu-rays so it's not that. Any input, PLEASE? It's driving me crazy trying to figure it out...

Installed the current drivers? PowerDVD8 standard/deluxe out of the box or OEM doesn't play BD but the Ultra does. Try here to find the right update to allow BD play. http://www.cyberlink.com/multi/download/patches_1_en_US.html#
