im gonna be writing a research/argument paper and have no clue what to write about! pitch me some ideas? thinking about re-using one i already wrote last term but im trying to take this serious thanks
Give us a subject and we can give you a topic....I write for a living currently so that's sort of my thing.
medicinal marijuana legalized prostitution two party system v multiple party system http://www.idebate.org/debatabase/topic_index.php
The Porn Industry Ancient Chinese Secrets Nigerian Royalty Countries in Africa Life from a Proctologist's point of view
Lol she doesn't allow papers on marijuana but I like the two party vs multiple parties. As for ideas....um music, sports, crime lol I just wrote an exploratory essay on if college athletes should be paid but there wasn't enough info to do that again.
It's a persuasive paper, right? Discuss why the BCS should go to a playoff system instead of the **** they have now.
good idea. just seems like it will be tough to find a book or two that i can source on that. you a-holes now i know what it feels like to have a thread jacked:
Plenty of newspaper articles out there to use as well. I did the same subject in a college debate class.
If you can do one on crime, write about how criminals go into prison relatively stupid and come out much better criminals with a network of thieves to work with. That always gets teachers all hot and steamy.
lol i'm writing it on if steroids are a problem in other sports besides baseball and if they are why the media/fans give them a pass(compared to baseball players who get scrutinized to death)
Always write about something you can relate to and have passion or at least interest in. I tried early in my education career to write about things I thought would be "easy" due to having tons of source material and easy to find resources ... and dear god I almost died of the boredom. I say some of my peers writing about stuff they actually enjoyed, and went down that route. Definitely the way to go. Steroids in sports sounds like an interesting topic, good luck!
prison overcrowding-- plenty of stuff to debate about arrests for minor charges (you can still get a marijuana reference to piss off your teach) early releases for convicted felons conditions of the inmates (cruel and unusual? deserved?) work release programs, and can even tie them into economy easy to get too broad but if it's an interest plenty of good topics to focus on with that
Felix I see you are 20 so I take it you are in college? If so you're library should have databases (should be able to access online) that will have PLENTY of information. I'm writing a paper now and the databases have been gold.
yeah those databases saved my *** plenty of times. Sometimes you just have to look a bit harder as the search engines on them aren't always spectacular.
Write a paper on what country should have rights to the Senkakus. Lots of controversy and history that can be found on that one. Varoius treaties. US position, Japan position, Taiwan position, China position, etc. Also a current issue causing troubles over here right now.
