"Word is" that the Lions have entered the Nate Washington sweepstakes and are expected to make a strong run at him once free agency starts.

They're competing with the Rams, Titans, Bucs, and Vikings. Either his agent is doing a great job of increasing Washington's market or these teams are serious about giving him a starting job. The Steelers made no effort to keep him.
