Nalbone vs Haynos, The Battle For No. 3 Tight End

While most positions of relevance have been squared away at this point, there are still a couple of spots on the back end of the roster that are up for grabs. One of the more appealing things to watch for in Thursday’s preseason game against New Orleans will be the battle for the No. 3 tight end position between Joey Haynos and John Nalbone.

Now, the chances of either player making a significant impact this season are relatively low. However, it does make for an interesting decision for the coaching staff that ultimately will come down to potential versus scheme.
