Once he has learned our system well enough to all out the coverages to the secondary... Yes, he should offer more than Clemons.

Wheeler beat him on the inside. Jake was on the ground.
Blaming a rookie RB for that one is puzzling to me.

That first half of football was bad..

    Outside linebacker..corner..pass rusher..safety...wide receiver..

Should be able to address two positions with damn good free agents, and maybe try to get two first rounders by moving up in the late first..

Team has holes.but room to fill..

Wasn't on the same page. In the late first, second quarter when the offense bogged down it did look like he started to tiptoe a little and bounce it. Maybe trying to do too much? Looking for the big play instead of just attacking the defense?

That was almost certainly Lamar Miller's assignment. Long didn't get "beaten", he is clearly moving to the outside and to get Tollefson and goes to the inside once he sees Wheeler is unblocked because Miller went outside. It makes sense from a schematic perspective in terms of what the assignment would logically be based on the offensive and defensive formations. Before the snap Long is pointing out the formation to Miller, and after the play Long is clearly irritated with Miller.

    It's pretty cut and dry.
