I think I did aright. I'm rolling the dice a little in a few areas, but no huge gambles. 12 man league, 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 TE 1 D 1 K Check it out. Points for Receptions btw. QB: Palmer, Edwards RB: Addai, McFadden, Leon Washington, Deangelo Williams WR: Larry Fitz, Brandon Marshall, Kevin Curtis, Nate Burleson, Kevin Walter TE: Cooley, (I figure that I'll cut a WR once Marshall comes back and snag McMichael or Lee off the waiver) D: Minn, Indy K: Rob My Bironas Can I finally be graded with an A for once?
That's not bad at all. WR is definitely your strong point, though McFadden is a good PPR sleeper. (Not too many people know about Oakland's plans for him in the passing game.) Really like your defenses, too. Way too many people grab defenses without thinking of their divisional matchups. Minnesota and Indy both have minimal divisional trouble to deal with in terms of offense; Minnesota has Green Bay, Indy has Jacksonville and maybe Houston depending on who's healthy.
Yep, you would think McFadden has to see a lot of action in the passing game bc of Bush and Fargas. I actually picked him up in the 5th round which suprised me. The defenses were definitely something I pursued heavily for the reason you stated above. I figure that worst case scenario happens and Marshall screws up or one of my other WR goes down, I'll have a lot of bargaining chips as well.
O yea I also forgot to mention that its a keeper league that allows you to retain 3 players on your team.
Not bad not awful. Definitely need rb and wr depth. i know the pool there is shallow but theres always gems to be dug out.
I was going to pick up Mo Maurice but his bye week fell on the same one as a few of my other RBs. Williams had a big game the other day and it seems like he'll hold off Stewart at least for awhile. I'm hoping Leon Washington sees more action after NY realizes how bad TJ is. Not to mention that Washington is a return man.
