To be honest, I can't stand the bastards in the Miami media. Let me just get that out on the record. I love the Dolphins. The Miami media loves the easy story. They love destroying this team. I have been waiting on this story to come out. I have been wondering who the reporter was that placed the call to Randy Cross. It seems that Randy Cross recently fielded a phone call from a member of the South Florida media. He was called (at the latest) last Wednesday. Five days later, I don't think this story (or at least this source) will come to fruition. Knowing the answer that the media member received, I do not think the answer fit the media members agenda. It seems the story would be out by now if they were actually seeking an unbiased opinion. Thursday morning I'm listening to the "Morning Drive" on Sirius Satellite Radio. Randy Cross laughs at something the cohost says and the cohosts inquires as to what he finds funny. It must have been a related note. I can't remember what they were talking about. Cross - "Just recently I was interviewed by a member of the South Florida media." Cohost - "What was that about?" Cross - "Well he says 'You were a member of some very successful teams but you played for three different coaches prior to that success?" Cross - "Yes" Media member - "I thought you would have a unique perspective on the situation in Miami" Cross - "(chuckle)" Media member - "What?" Cross - "More than anything, instability can kill a team." Cohost - "What did he say?" Cross - "I don't think I gave him the answer he was looking for when I immediately started laughing because I knew where he was going." That my friends is your south florida media. They are always looking for the soap opera. They are clowns!
Can't bad coaching kill a team too Zod? Isn't it possible that despite the injuries/lack of talent that Cam is just not a very good coach? What the media says is irrelevant and I certainly don't care what Randy Cross has to say on the matter. A coach makes his money when the chips are down and the deck stacked against him. Remember the Pats first SB team. They started Antowain Smith at RB and had no names at WR. Their defense also contained no stars and yet they won the SB. That was where Belichcik earned his reputation. It's easy for him now b/c they clearly have the best team. It was when he beat the juggernaut Rams with that team that he became a legend.
Was the team good BEFORE Cam Cameron? Bill Bellichek had a horrible reputation before Tom Brady took a snap from center. Cleveland could not get rid of him fast enough. Take the blinders off...... http://www.miamiherald.com/616/story/339807.html What was the point in airing the dirty laundry of 1995? What was the point in airing the dirty laundry of 1999?
