And so, the Patriots and Chargers win their player battles.

Jackson is probably emboldened by Marcus McNeill’s long-term deal, and Mankins is just going to accrue the season credit necessary to become an unrestricted free agent. I would throw money at Mankins.

Also, slickj101, Ozzy… told you.

This is noteworthy for two reasons. One, Mankins will be playing when we re-play the Patriots in December. Two, Mankins is probably just accruing the credit necessary to become an unrestricted free agent. I expect him to be available in the offseason, and yes, I would pay him.

Oh, and that Vincent Jackson thing? Appears I was right after all. :shifty:

Edit: Here’s the link Mortensen mentions. The NFLPA recommended that Mankins and Jackson report. And Mortensen changes Mankins’ reporting date to November 16, not 24.

I imagined they would get 6 games in for an accrued season. However let's not pass this off as fact yet as nobody has been more wrong the last 3 years than the joke that is Chris Mortenson.

lol I guess if I was right about just one thing that nobody really argued to begin with, then I'd enjoy it too.

    Comedy.
