The Rams didn't start out with a ton of cap space. Giving Cook mega-money had to take a big swipe at what little they had. I don't imagine their numbers can approach what Section126 was referring to before (5 years, $55 million).

Here's my take on Wallace. We paid him a lot of money; however, the team cannot treat him they way they treated Marshall. Do not go out of your way to force him the ball. He is a guy who gets the ball maybe 5-10 times a game max. I feel the Phins should trade Bess and upgrade #3 because of this. Hartline and your #3 will get the majority of the targets. Sprinkle Wallace in. If you overuse him, his effect is nullified.
