Well, James Walker tweeted that Rosenhaus and Ireland are having a chat, there is -0- chance CJ is brought back but does Rosenhaus rep Plex Burress? I read a tweet that the patsies passed on signing him, we could use a Vet Wr. Edited to add, Rosenhaus is indeed Burresses' agent.
No one gives me crap if I dislike my bosses decision and keep it to myself. I might even be okay if I voiced my displeasure to co-workers, fomenting more discontent. If I went in and voiced my displeasure to my boss directly in a one-on-one that might be okay too. But if I go on the local radio station and tell the world I disagree with my bosses decsion and I speak for everyone at the company... that's probably not okay.
What in gods name do you have against our best linebacker? Are you still upset he is making more than (insert random name here)???
So you feel that b/c Dansby disagreed with the decision, he no longer is focused on doing his job? Really? I think that's a little presumptuous...
Fixed. Do something to merit your role before you go on the radio talking like your smarter than management.
Well, we're having this conversation in stereo across two threads, but if this leads to other players feeling comfortable publicly doubting the h.c.'s decision I think that over time it can create a rift in the 100% faith and trust you need to be a great team. Great teams seem to have an implicit faith in 'coach'. Or maybe I'm wrong.
Dansby should have handled this with Philbin, not run off to do a live radio show prior to practice to then proclaim his *****assness. Dansby does not impress me.
Talk about a knee jerk reaction. Do you believe that I actually think that a 5 minute conversation is going to result in Dansby forgetting how to play football? Re-read what I wrote when I typed LEAD. If Dansby wants to be a leader on this team, he should ACT LIKE ONE. Leaders typically support their coaches, would you agree with that statement?
"Wasting time"? Really? Does taking a crap count as "wasting time" too, lol? I hardly think he is missing practice or position meetings b/c he is pouting about Chad not being here.
Sounds like MMoore and THill are splitting first team reps Lots of drops among the Wr's, Fuller, Marlon Moore and Legs all dropping passes sometimes 2 or 3 throws. Dansby, Burnett, McDaniel not practicing Feinga is 2nd LG, Garner is gutting it out with a sprained ankle b/c he knows he is on the bubble as it is.
[QUOTTE=FinNasty;1815190]"Wasting time"? Really? Does taking a crap count as "wasting time" too, lol? I hardly think he is missing practice or position meetings b/c he is pouting about Chad not being here.[/QUOTE] Yep, let me ask one question and I'll read your response but have made my feelings known so no further reply about this from me: Zach Thomas was arguably the most prepared MLB in team history, did he ever do this sort of thing?
Take what Omar says with a grain of salt... about RyTan's worst practice in a while. RyTan... RyTan Clan? RyTan Fan?
On Dansby.... for a leader.. there's a right time to chirp and a wrong time to chirp. This, IMO, is not the time. Not the day after #85 was cut... not the same day YOU are out hurt not practicing. Play better Karlos. Please!
Agree about Omar....Volin in my eyes is usually the most trustworthy with what he writes but he doesn't tweet half as much as Omar does...
I take that with a large grain of salt, since both reporters noted a lot of WR drops, no? It sounds like the WRs were not concentrating well today (thanks Chad). If they play well, then Tannehill has at least the Marlon Moore TD and a couple other receptions. I'd like to know what Tannehill *himself* did right and wrong on his throws. Did he misread any defenses? Was he inaccurate?
Personally, the fact that we're on Hard Knocks is going to result in a positive for this team... and as a fan it's awesome.. but there will be moments in the next couple of weeks that will make this front office and coaching staff cringe.
No ****. Too bad Dansby has never worked in a normal company. If you did a radio show about your boss' wrong decision in corporate America you'd get more than a talking to.
Dansbys influence in the locker room is huge, I don't like what he's doing.. Why doesn't he understand that you can't bring your other outside life into a NFL program..he chose to bring his baggage to the team. He got a clean slate.
I knee jerked? I consider leading this team as part of his job... so "not focusing on leading this team" IMO is "not focusing on doing his job". I don’t have a problem with players acting like humans, having opinions, and having emotions. They do not have to be robots that don’t question anything and just do what they’re told… nor do I think that is practical.
I have no idea if he ever disagreed with releasing guys a decade ago. The question I have is, why does it matter? To think having a disagreement is cutting into his prep time is ridiculous IMO...
He does have a life sized man crush on him...and starts fussing when people ask him questions about the other QB's
Young guys have to step up more effectively, this is such a golden opportunity for them one of them has to seperate themselves
They have had a case of the dropsies the past couple practices too. Really wasn't too many drops Friday with the exception of....Chad...
