Its time for Jaylen Waddle to become an alpha. Darren Waller is going to have to become a bug part of this offense moving forward.

Last play by Hill as a Dolphin. At least Miami looks like they'll win this game, it will be tougher the rest of the season without Tyreek.

Just when the defense looked as if they woke up, they got complacent

Knee injury. Like the whole thing is probably shredded.

Become alpha? Heck, at this point I'd be happy if he just simply showed up on game day. He's invisible out there.

Floating around online is that it was a dislocation with multi-ligament tears. I'm assuming everything there is shredded based on the way his leg was bent at the knee. Didn't look like much was there holding anything in place.

Tyreek Hill looked ecstatic about never having to play another down for Miami ever again. He literally was calling it a career on that cart ride. I'll miss him.

Yea, hills guarantee money is paid out after this season. He is done as a dolphin. Was a very valuable player for us on the field, with lots of off the field nonsense that most us didnt care to swallow more of moving forward. Time to move on. It is too bad that it was in this circumstance, hope he is able to recover and walk again.

I can never understand why you would call a running play from the shotgun on 2nd or 3rd and 2.

Nice. At least we're not as bad as the Jets lol. Defense is still trash, but McD called a better game today.

Jets, Mets, Nets all suck lol. They should change their names.

Always fun to get a win over that trash franchise. Guess we will get a good look at Waddle as WR1.

Always feels good to beat the Jets, and it will be interesting to see how the offense adjusts to life without Hill. Might be better, to be honest.

    Tua, 17/26, 177 yards, 2 TDs 114.92 passer rating.
    Achane, 20 Att, 99 yards, 1TD
    Waller, 3/4, 27 yards 2 TDS

Defense, 3 takeaways and 2 sacks

No true flash in the pan stats offensively; a TRUE team win in all 3 facets of the game. That last punt by Bailey was ridiculous being downed at the 1 yard line.

Now to the criticisms, which focus mainly on the defense. The game is win and lost at the line of scrimmage and the Jets exposed Miami’s inability to stop the run up the gut. The Jets at one point were averaging 8 yards per rush. That has GOT to be fixed.

On the offense, Borom sucks to the highest level of sucktivity. He has to go, getting bulled over so easily when you are your quarterback’s blindside protection.

This is more than likely Hill’s last game as a Dolphin. It will be interesting to see how McDaniel adjusts the offense to compensate for the loss of your most electrifying receiver.

Good win! At least Miami will get my attention for at least one more week.

Gotta agree, Borom is a turnstile. Our run defense won't survive December on the road, or at home for that matter. It was nice to notch a win, but this team is going nowhere unless we figure out the defense, and the offense still finds ways to score without Hill. I think Waddle can take over. Washington is about to be baptized in fire. We'll see. It's on to Carolina next.

I thought Tua navigated the pocket extremely well again tonight.

McDaniel called his best game in one and a half years.

The defense and Weaver are still really bad. A couple of fumbles bailed them out.

Hill is going to he missed but statistically Tua is on par or even better when Hill isn't on the field.

Devon Achane is a top 20 player in the entire league.

Yeah I don't mind losing Hill. It's obvious we aren't really a playoff team, so let's see some of the kids, not just Malik but Taj as well. Waller was a shock - while teams may pay more attention to him, our offense functioned OK with Jonnu so if he can be something akin to that, cool. We will have to dedicate more higher end assets to the OL this offseason. Austin Jackson just cannot stay on the field and his replacements are not good.

Defense still a mess. It is what it is and probably won't get significantly better. Hopefully we see growth from our young DL.

Evidence of what I've been saying the whole time: the problem is more McD than Tua.

Same with defense. The players (except at DB) aren't that bad. Weaver is the main problem.

Anyway, let's see if they can do this against the Panthers. We did get some help from the refs today that we won't get in Carolina, but good job with the win regardless.

Of the many idiotic takes, this isn't even close to the worst of them being put out there.

Tyreek could have sulked but decided to acknowledge the fans, keep it light with his teammates and obviously thank God for blessing him with his ability.

First of all, I was joking at the time, given our record and how awful Tua had played the first three weeks.

While he (Hill) was being positive despite the circumstances, I could see this as a farewell to Miami from the looks of it.
Are you suggesting that he's going to come back from this??? A man who relies on his speed to make it in the NFL? You do realize, it was a devastating injury? Dislocated knees alone take 6 months to rehab. Multiple ligaments? Forget it. His knee is ruined. Trying to run a 4:2 on bad knees is a tough task for any guy over 30. His career is probably over, given his age and what he relies on in this league.

I don't think it's that insane of me to suggest that he may have experienced a moment of clarity and surreal truth about the entire substance of his career on that cart ride (kind of like a career flashing before his eyes type deal). I mean, "Damn man, this might be my last night under these lights as a player, I'm going to record this moment in my mind and embrace it."

To me, it was a goodbye to a career, and if so, I think he handled it amazingly. He went out on his shield, and I respect him for embracing that.

Hill has been a headache at times here, but he was damn good for us while he was here. I'm going to miss him. That's really all I was saying. There really was no need for your $hitty reply. I have to disagree; my take was far from terrible. You missed the initial humor (sailed right over your head like an errant Tua pass under pressure), and then you completely missed the meaning and context, but it's because you cannot discover that type of thinking. You simply don't have the introspective ability to do so. Have another cheese stick and don't get the marinara sauce on your Larry Csonka jersey this time.

No it’s just par for the course for internet comments on horrific happenings. It was in bad taste IMO.
