Mike Williams is expected to make his prescribed weight of 250 pounds to begin the Titans' offseason program.

The Titans might have considered releasing Williams had he not made weight. With former coordinator Norm Chow out of the picture, he won't have much leeway. Making weight was just step one in his bid to make the Titans.

250 pounds is still too big for a WR.

Wow, 250? At that weight he would be more like a TE. That is VERY VERY big for a WR

Yea, TE sounds more likely for him. I think he would probably be a good pass catching TE, but I would doubt his blocking ability.

Calvin Johnson was at 239 pounds coming into the NFL but he did run a 4.3 or 4.4.

250 pounds for a receiver is still too big IMO that is like someone mentioned TE weight

i like mike williams he has talent but he has to work, it is not enough to just show up
