Seems like just yesterday he was the corny host of Dirt Jobs... Now he hosts The Deadliest Catch, The Most, and is on every ford commercial featuring a truck. I don't think he's funny. He garners a chuckle here and there, but he's nothing special. So why is History/Discovery obsessed with him? Is he your average everyday man's man? Is he funnier than I'm noticing? Is he just cool? Or is he a Discovery Channel executive? Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the guy. I just don't know why he's the face of Discovery all of a sudden. Next, they'll have him join Myth Busters.

Jealousy is a terrible thing. I think Mor is intimidated by how cool and popular Mike Rowe is, envious if you will.
My sister thinks he is hot...but then again my sister is dumb. He used to host some local show out here in California in the 90's. And he is great on Dirty Jobs. I have yet to find anyone who says the word "poo" funnier than he. I think the appeal is that he is somehow non threatoning towards mothers and the content matter in which he deals with (poo, dirt, etc.) appeals to guys. Best of both worlds.
Pretty sure he also narrates Ghost Hunters. I get a big kick out of Dirty Jobs, so I don't have any problems with him. That and he cracks my 4 year old up every time he says poo.

nah, first day i was on there someone (and i cant remember who at this moment, think it was sick) said they didn't want wimmins there, so i left. however, if Mor says he wants me to do something, i'm pretty sure everyone knows what i'll do.

My husband watches all the shows Mike hosts. I asked him about the Mor's question yesterday. He said in his opinion it's because he has charisma and is easy on the eyes to women.
Yes he did - I don't watch any of this dudes shows. Thank goodness we have more than one tv. I guess he was guessing that he's easy on the eyes. He doesn't hold any appeal to me and that's because the only one who does is hubby, but I supposed he could be considered handsome to other women in a rugged sort of way. That make any sense?
Oh Lord - hubby watches that show too. So does "Miami" Mike. I guess, like The Mor said, he's all over the place on tv.
