I'm telling you Marty, nothing makes me happier than hearing bad news from the Jets camp.

Lol, and to think we were about to draft Vernon Gholston.

I've only been "terrified" a few times in my life. Those couple weeks of pre-draft contract talks, that supposedly included Gholston, was one of those times. :scared:

I still think the Jets will be better this year. Ryan has given them some fight which they lost with Mangini.

I think Sanchez will struggle some, but he looks like he might be a guy they have needed. The defense will be tough along with the special teams.

I think they will start slow, but get much better as the year goes on.

The AFC East is again going to be a battle ground like it was in the past.

So much for Ryan making Gholston into a stud pass rusher like some of the jets fans seem to think he was going to do.

Better on defense maybe, better on offense? I don't think so. They benefitted from people having respect for what Brett can do, this year its Sanchez and a stacked box against the run, game after game. It all depends on how Sanchez does.

Bart Scott may be the mentor Gholston needed.

    I hope not.
