This mammoth of a man is available as a college free agent even though he didn't go through the draft and is not eligible for the supplemental draft. I believe he played at Stoney Brook, and has a brother who is a member of the Harlem Globetrotters. I didnt' provide the linke at fox sports, but if you go to their site there is a story on him. He apparently is one of the first persons to evade the draft and go right to free agency as a rookie. He has a draftable grade of 5th or 6th round status. He is 6-8 and weighs just under 340 pounds, but is athletic like his brother. Can bend and move his feet. He is holding a workout this week I believe. Would love Dolphins to look at him.
Football player? Position ? 6'8' 340.... good luck with that. "Evading" the draft is putting it nicely.
1st player to ever dodge draft. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...ble-ncaa-supplemental-draft-free-agent-070813 You just sparked a revalation of sorts for me, a whole new epic saga of " that's not what she said's " ! I've been missing out on half the action all this time, but should be unstoppable now.
Signed with the Eagles, although according to this article we were interested and in the running to sign him up until the end. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...el-bamiro-6foot8-tackle-agrees-to-eagles-deal
