That's interesting. Hopefully that means they are trying to get Landry off returns. He was actually fairly good at it, but I would rather have Landry concentrate on an increased role in the offense. I'm starting to think we carry six receivers this year with one being primarily for returns. Nothing more than a hunch though.

Very interesting. I am surprised we are interested. He is from my home town. Quick bursts, no top end speed. Reminds me of Bess...

But have a saying here "You can take them out of Bradenton, but you cant take the Bradenton out of them"

He isn't that special as a return guy, is he? Because he certainly isn't taking any reps at WR.

So if Miami is interested in this guy, there will be at least four return guys on the roster for camp: James, Landry, McCain, and James.

Kick the tires on everyone. Cannot hurt. The thing is, a TD return in any game could be the difference between winning and losing. What's Philbin's little saying? All phases?

Keep in mind, have to have a returner for the preseason.

Ideally, for roster reasons a Db who is an effective Returner would be helpful

There is just a lot of dumb people here. A lot of great athletes leave here and screw up, get arrested, etc.

Didn't say anything about it being the worst place on earth.

I'd be interested to see if Bobby McCain can be a return man. From what limited film I've seen of him, he seems to have that body type and skill set.

Joe Kinnan was the head coach over there for a long time. Booth just took over this past year. Kinnan was the best coach in the state yes.

thats why bobby mccain is my dark horse for kick off returns, he returned 4 for TD´s in his college career, thats the ideal scenario, no extra spot for a returner

the best returner on this team is lamar miller, but i don't think they want the starting RB returning kicks. IDK why just let him return kicks and punts, put ajay in for the first 1 or 2 plays after if you are worried about wearing him out. He only gets the ball on high average 15 times a game anyway, what's a few returns going to hinder. One can dream at least.
