Philbin said it was a simulation of the GB game last season.. I'm guessing the focus was on the defense stopping the offense from scoring. Maybe the offensive plays were scripted... Still, weird that they didn't go for it on 4th & 1.
I'm really happy for Rishard Matthews, I've been a fan of his since we drafted him.. then meeting him and getting an autograph last week was just icing on the cake. It's never a bad thing to have too many good guys at any one position. I still say he's a lock at the 5th WR spot and Preston is leading Hazel at the 6th.
Earl Mitchell was an H-Back his first two years in College. I'm happy they're exploring this, it's possible he could be a lot better than most of these part-time fullbacks with his experience, and with Charles Clay gone they need someone who can do work in this area besides Dion Sims.

If these guys can keep this up, it'll be pretty nice to have a lot of (if not all) of the field covered from a WR/TE standpoint. Haven't had that in MANY many years...
Rafs was his biggest proponent coming out...I started some threads about how talented I think he is and how he should be having a significant role, and How I havent been able to grasp why he hasn't, especially the work ethic stuff, when doing research on him I found out that he worked very hard on his craft, so the negative stuff was quite suprising.

Landry for 40 yards. Also Jordan Cameron caught at least one that was around 20-25 yards they said and Lamike James had a run like 18-20 yards. Matt Moore had some deep passes as well, only one I remember off top of my head was 30 yards to Laron Byrd.

Agreed. He is the most physically gifted slot WR on the team, and that includes Landry. What's holding him back is the ability to be consistent, knowing his assignments, performing in practice, being a true professional, earning the trust of his coaches and teammates etc.

Two biggest issues there are Pouncey helps out the LG (Douglas, I think) and missed the delayed blitzer. Whoever the RG is gets absolutely beaten by Mike Hull. Really? Ja'Wuan James and the TE actually did a decent job on Suh and the DE (Wake).
