Retired QB Dan Marino wasn't surprised that Dolphins VP of football operations Bill Parcells hasn't made a big splash in free agency so far. "Coach Parcells knows what he's doing," Marino said. "He knows if he had to go out and get a big-time free agent that's a lot of notoriety so he would've done that. I'm sure that he's getting the guys he wants to get, you see the progress they made last year. You got to believe in what they believe in. You see the results. I'm sure that will continue."

Well here is some good news:

That is the first I've heard of Thomas's progress from his injury.

I noticed in an article earlier that the coaching staff is going to have Satele compete with Donald Thomas for the starting RG spot as well.

If they don't like samson he will be traded, he's young and has talent and lots of it, he just doesn't fit our scheme very well...

I could see us trading Satele on draft day if a center falls to us that we like at #56.

Good idea, let's trade away any proven depth on the OL that we now have.
