I love the condescending tone of the article. Id rather they acknowledge there is an issue and go back to basics than pretend that they should know it already. Also this a very young team so sometimes you do forget fundamentals. South Florida media blows
You make a good point there. I agree they need to improve on a few areas but the writer didn't need to bash on the young guys.
For whatever reason, Volin has went totally negative on the Dolphins this yr, so I rarely bother to read his crap because his commentary is a waste of time. I mean "Pop Warner Fundamentals"? He also perpetrates the myth that roster churning has led to the poor ST play, if the jack wagon knew what he was talking about he'd then also know the "experienced" ST players are the ones who have screwed up. And I'm just a fan, he is paid to know who is succeeding and who is failing on the team he is covering.
10:1 says Volin couldn't teach fundamentals to 5 yr olds at a Pop Warner practice, but he's speaking down to professional coaches and players . I guess it's much easier to criticize people when you have no idea how hard their job is.
Eh, the way I see it, Volin has the smallest readership of the three main Dolphins Bloggers so he is going adolescent like negative.
Agree. I don't mind the negativity as much as the know it all reporter feel to the articles these guys write sometimes. I don't expect them to be scouts or gurus, they're not, they're journalists. I just wish they should stick to reporting, but Armando is crushing everyone (traffic wise) so get ready for some more provocative, but not so well thought out articles .
