I said this in another thread that I could see this happening because we have depth at wr to give up for him along with perhaps a 3rd or 4th.
Im not saying its what I want but it kinda fits.

I could also see Denver trading him to San Fran for Crabtree

The idea intrigues me a bit. I like his ability and talent, and the opportunities he could provide our offense, but I just don't think he'd ever fit in here. This team to me, is the epitome of TEAM. No big superstars that stand out on their own, and value themselves more than the success of the team, everyone here plays to win, and plays for each other.

Could Sparano, Parcels and company control Marshall? Maybe, yes. That's a heck of a gamble to take though if you can't and he becomes a problem, but a heck of a reward if it pays off thats for sure.

I don't think we'd be willing to give up what It would need to get Marshall. I dont think a 3rd and a 4th along with any of our WR's would be enough. Only time will tell I guess.

You seriously think he would do that with Sparano and Parcells watching?

    I highly doubt it

There's a reason they refer to him as "Baby TO."

I say no thanks, regardless of his abilities on the football field.

trade a mid pick for him, sign him with plenty of clauses in the contract that prevent this cry baby **** from happening, if he does it? cut his *** without any problems, and have him pay back some of the contract (or some other clause)

I don't think Sparano & Co. feel like having to curb/control anyone. They want people that are professional and don't need baby sitting. High character folks (for the most part). Marshall hasn't given anyone reason to think he's not a huge headache.

Brandon Marhsall might have amazing talent but he doesn't make a team better. Attitudes like that are locker room cancer. We went 11-5 and to the playoffs with guys like Pennington and Camarillo while Denver choked away a 3 game division lead with prima donnas like Cutler and Marshall. There's a reason our FO doesn't pursue guys like this. Probably a bit unfair on my part to lump Cutler in with Marhshall, but you get my idea.

No thanks, he was jogging around practices in his jammies while his teammates were hustling, purposely knocking down balls instead of catching them, basically doing everything he can to make a nuisance of himself by acting like a spoiled brat. That isn't even including his multiple off the field issues. That type of act isn't going to win many fans among NFL FO's, especially this one.

The only thing that would make it worth it would be the film of Sparano choking the life out of him in the middle of receiving drills.

I'm not saying hes going to change but I doubt he will be out on the practice field swatting balls down and doing all that garbage.

Its his off the field crap that would scare me

I'd do it for a mid-round pick and any one of our WR.
He would instantly become our best offensive player.

    i'd do it.
The only reason he's doing all this is because they traded his QB and he doesnt get along with the new staff. And like someone else said the only fear i'd have is when he's off the field.

I doubt our FO would try to get Marshall. But if they did get him, you better believe its because they really think or know he won't be a problem under their control. Also, I think there is a good possibility that Marshall's actions are specific to the situation in Denver with McDaniels, but who really knows. Randy Moss has been a model player since joining the Pats, you never know, it might just take a strict no BS regime for players like that.

I agree with w/e they decide, they know what they're doing.

Yea, off the field scares me, not on. His on the field stuff would never fly with all the guys we have who are willing to step in and say something. And that isn't even counting the coaches.

This would be a great move. I think his poor behavior would come to a hault if he were to come into Parcells house. He would be a great aquisiton. Imagine him, ronnie brown, and pennington together. And we have more weapons. Problem is we would probably have to trade Ginn for him. Would you do it?

To give up a high round draft pick and probably more for a guy that obviously wants his big payday just doesn't seem to be the way this regime works. Not to mention his off field discretions and his current standing with the Commish, which is precarious at best. Now he either takes bad advice or doesn't take the good advice that he's been given and acts up like this in practice, which is a serious NFL black mark and I don't think they'll be too interested unless the price really comes down. I'm not saying that he wouldn't instantly become our best WR or that he isn't totally worth the pick/picks and or players and the money it would take to make him happy here, but he just is carrying a lot of baggage for that to happen with this regime...

In his defense, Baby Hoodie hasn't exactly handled things too well in Denver either and may be as much or a significant part of the issue, but you don't fool around when you're between the white sidelines and you don't mess around in practice in the NFL...no matter how much of a 'star' you think you are. Even TO knows that...

Living in Denver and being forcefed his story almost daily over the last few years, I can say that I am convinced that this is one guy who will never "grow up / get it". He is also not going to be happy without a huge contract extension. With the problems he had / has that is just not a good investment in my opinion.

i would never want to see him in a Dolphins jersey. we have a great mentality of selfless players in the locker room. inserting a primadonna me-first player won't help anything.

team continuity is more important than a single talent IMO.

The larger question is whether our particular offensive system needs (or would even benefit from) a flashy wide receiver.

The Broncos will ask for a 1st and probably get it. At the cost of a 2nd I'd do it in a heartbeat.

My only concern with him would be off field trouble. And the only thing Parcells would care about is if that trouble made him unavailable for games.

He has been great on the field and is exactly the type of WR that this regime has been looking for since they paid Wilford all that money and spent a 3rd on Turner. Turner may become that WR but as of now we don't have what we want.

Nobody is going to trade a high pick for him. He's a pacman waiting to happen. I will not be surprised when he's on a year suspension in the next couple years. He's an absolute disgrace to have on your team.
