Wow! That's a lot different from what we've heard recently, huh? I never wanted him to begin with. I want our own young guy whom we can groom and grow with. So, I guess I'm saying..screw him! Hopefully this ends the speculation. Man, the BS speculations really start flying around this time of year, huh? They get us scrambling like mice for a piece of cheese.

He's not spurning us bro. ;)

He's just keeping his options open. The guy wants out of AZ badly and who wouldn't want to play in their home state?

I guarantee you the Dolphins are his first choice. And the Dolphins would gladly have him if it weren't for those pesky draft picks AZ will require us to give up.

He's just keeping his options open, no reason to rule teams out. I'm not implying that we are his first choice, though.

Edit: haha muck, I like you're thinking :knucks:

All I'm saying is it's funny how things can get misconstrued and taken out of context. Just yesterday it's reported that he says he really wants to come to Miami and that he would love to play for us, when today it's now just because we are in the state of Florida. It was implied that we were where he wanted to go and it was even speculated and discussed here that he may be already working on a deal with Miami. The whole point is that things get taken way out of proportion.

How do you guarantee Miami is his first choice? Well, we look to be the team on the rise, so if that's the case, who wants a front runner anyway? JMO.

I personally would like to have Boldin in our team, hes proven and we all know what he can do, he still young, only 28.
I'm not against drafting a young gun, but is always that possibility of getting a mediocre player or not at the same level of Boldin.

Let me adjust your title a little bit as it pertains to Boldin:

Miami Dolphins not on Anquan Boldin’s mind

Boldin has his mind on his money, and his money on his mind.

He wants Fitzgerald money ($10 million per season), but he is not going to get this in Miami.

I'll take a free Ginn, Bess, Cammy over Boldin..... a great player yes but someone we would have to give up the tool that this regime uses best..... draft choices.

If they would just want one pick then ok, but they will likely want more than that and our guys are smart enough to not excercise that option.

I would LOVE to have Boldin on our team but we know these guy's are building for the future first and foremost.

Sorry, but.........I will pass. I would rather have the draft pick. I see no need to spend that amount of money on a reciever with the QB we have starting now. What we have will work fine, for me.

Possibly one pick would do it, Boldin wants out of Arizona and the Cardinals are equally motivated to move him.

I support the team either way it goes. If you can work out a deal for Boldin, that will drastically change the way defenses will have to play us defensively. This will also help out Chad with his weapons on that side of the ball. Drafting a wide receiver in the draft may take several years to reach there potential such as Ginn, or it could happen a lot sooner. It will make players like Cammy, and Bess that much better.

Like I said if it only takes one pick I wouldnt be mad at all. But could we really win a bidding war with teams like Philly or NY who have more ammo and who's window for success may be closing..

If they just want pick #25 then sign me up, Parcells an Co. are great but they did draft Bobby Carpenter #18 overall in Dallas. I just dont think we could win a bidding war.

The Giants are more interested in Braylon Edwards.

which reminds me, i heard john clayton on nfl live last night say that the cost for boldin or edwards would likely be a 1st and a 3rd. ouch!

Not sure what their agenda is but no way would I take Braylon Edwards over Boldin.....

If he has a hard time dealing with the Cleveland media can you imagine him in NY!!

Maybe the Giants just know the price for him would be less than Boldin because I think there is a huge difference in ability.

check out the story titled "Edwards still on Giants radar"? Looks like the Browns and Giants have already went back and forth on what it will take to get a deal done. i think they're just arguing over a player that the browns want from the giants.
