    equals… no longer a Dolphin in 2013.

Little bit premature as Long may return though that is ver doubtful.

So long Bush, Dansby and Long

Safe to say the coaches weren't impressed with the leadership there.

I don't think there was a problem with the leadership there necessarily. I just don't think they want the kind of guys that want to have a leadership council.

All of those players were either in the last year of their contract, aging, not worth the money or a combination. It's not like the Dolphins were like "Leadership counsel? HAH! I'll show them!" Purely coincidental.

Oh it definitely is, but some people think it wasn't just a coincidence.

I think someone has to post the video clip from Hard Knocks of Jeff Ireland and Joe Philbin when Reggie Bush came to them in the wake of Karlos Dansby's radio remarks and asked if they could have a meeting about them cutting Chad OchoCinco.

Jeff Ireland looked like he was going to vomit on Reggie's cleats. He was plainly disgusted.

An off season later, Jake Long is the only one from the leadership council still hanging by a very thin thread.

But that thread is still there. The Rams only started with $12 or $14 million under the salary cap and they just gave a large deal to Jared Cook. That could be an indication that when Jake Long gets in off the plane, they will plan to offer him a low deal, Ireland-style. I'm guessing he's already got an offer on the table from the Dolphins for that kind of money.

Jake and his wife want very much to stay in Miami, IMO.

Chicago signed Bushrod so I dont think he is going there either… Long may just end back up in Miami after all
